Really depends on what you want to achieve, are you looking to gain strength, bulk, lose weight etc is it for sports? :)
Have you read through the GordyR's sticky topic? That might be the best place to start and then people can help you adjust to suit you better.
If you want more specific stuff then you'll have to ask more specific questions ;)

Hi mate. I'm wanting to increase strength and bulk up, but also want to include some cardio on the off days (I've become majorly unfit since going to uni). I've read through his sticky a few times and other sites that people have recommended from this forum.

Is there anything else you would need to know before posting a diet / routine? Thanks for any help!

2nd week back in the gym this week, and my second chest session. Which was better than the last one, added an extra 5kg per dumbell for flat dumbell bench, and dumbell inclin bench, which i was please with. My muscles didnt fail so easily today which is another good sign:)

Unlucky bro! I bet your coach was happy??
Good idea filming our gym sessions though - be good to see some others.

Couple weeks back I done my lower back in deadlifting without warming up properly :( sure did look like a complete tool trying to put my socks on the next day lol :p
Oh ended up going to the casino tonight so was not on msn.

Knowledge is your friend when it comes to training I believe. I mean everyone can train hard, but training the right way is always the winner.
So do as much reading as you can, set yourself some goals and stick with it.
Get a decent routine sorted (one in GordyR's for instance), get the diet set in the right direction and you'll be rocking in no time. Be warned though - it gets addictive! ;)
Any questions about routines/diets - post them up and I'm sure someone will be able to help out.

No he seemed somewhat agitated by it :D

Was pleased with the squat though, 320 5 times first set is a new record for me, even if I did end up with a nicely broken set of legs :o

I missed MSN too ended up playing COD4 and sitting with my feet in one of those massaging water baths :D

Dude what were you thinking lifting that much weight first set? Ah well... lesson learnt I supose... I'm the same, always have to learn the hard way ;)

I usually do that on my second set however I thought Id push my self a little today, obviously my complete lack of excersize last week didnt help :p

At least I now have a motorized wheel chair to go around campus in

Plus all the noobs can see no matter how much weight you lift always squat just below parrallel :)

Ripped my legs to shreds today at the gym :D first time in weeks that I have been injury free lately and it feels awesome!
Went to run down the stairs and nearly face planted lol
Squats
Overhead Squats
Front Squats
Hack Squats
Leg Raise
Donkey Raises

Was dead lifting today and suddenly got large amounts of dull aching pain in my neck glands. Was an odd feeling and strangely debilitating. Possibly something to do with tensing neck and perhaps not breathing properly?

Had to wait 3 minutes for the fourth set. Did 4 x 8 at 60 + bar, which I know is lame compared to some of you animals, but it felt good apart from the above. Bleeding shins though which I didn't notice until the end.

I expect just from tensing your neck and trying hard. I wouldn't worry unless it persists.

Bleeding shins is obviously from dragging the bar up your legs, you don't really want to be doing that ;)

anyone here trying out the anabolic diet? I started 2 days ago and its really strange to be eatting all this stuff while supposidly on a diet although im not complaining about fried bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs with spinich and mushrooms every morning :D.
Suppose what im asking is what do people think to the diet and have they had any experiences good or bad?

This week I'm not in the gym as I've been training consistently for 4 months, time to rest the muscles properly.

Just bought some WMS from myprotein.co.uk. Plan on mixing this with BCAAs and Creatine for a decent post-workout shake.
