For those that wanted pics of my new mondeo

That's a nice Mondy :) . Same colour as my P Reg 2.0 Si (Electric Current Red?). I also have an R reg St24 at the Minute in State blue, although i'll probably be selling this when I get the Si up and running (it needs some work first!). I'm looking at putting an RSAP kit on mine too, I got a proper original Ford kit off of eBay for £200 plus about £30 delivery iirc. Just missing one of the fog light surrounds and one of the side skirts is missing the jacking point cover.
I love the sound the V6 makes but it's a bit too thirsty for my liking. Although i've found my IRMC secondary throttle cable has snapped so I don't know if that may be contributing towards the problem.

Anyway, nice motor. Good price as well. :)

thanks fox :) you should try one of these V6s i gurantee you love it :D

Please don't tempt me. I keep swaying and thinking 'You know, a really nice ST200 is well within reach...'

Then somebody parks next to me in a 530i Sport :(

I'd offer you my ST24 when I come to sell it, (although you are a few miles away :D ) but you seem more a Ghia/Ghia X man anyhow. :p

I couldn't live without my full leather, cruise, onboard computer and fake plastic wood, the 5 mile trip to Uni would be hell :p
Lol, half leather not good eh? :p I must admit, I wouldn't mind cruise and fully heated seats, and whatever else the Ghia X has over the ST24 actually! :D

Only thing I wish my ST200 had was heated seats...not really bothered about cruise control as its a drivers car I don't sit at the same speed for long enough :p

I genuinelly don't understand why Ford never put heated seats in the ST200. Interesting, for the MY2000 upgrades in July 99, the ST24 actually GAINED heated seats but the more expensive ST200 did not.

Dont make a lot of sense does it?

Perhaps they assumed the people who bought the ST200 over the ST24 would be richer/perhaps fatter, therefore had enough bum insulation :p

Well that certainly counts me out as i'm neither of those but it does make you wonder why they didn't add them, its like the footwell bulb holders, they built the ST200's with them in but never put bulbs into them when they came off the production line....Ford are strange at times.

But they are in mine now and look sweet :D

To be honest its only by chance I came by mine, I was looking initially for a Golf VR6 until I went out in my mates ST200 hatch, so the search began and this estate appeared 4-5 miles from my house on a garage forecourt, so I did the usual test drive, inspection and it was perfect, 45,000 FSH 2 owners from new, so that was it, thank you very much :D

And for an estate boy does it handle :D

needmorespeeds going to have some fun for sure if he starts tinkering with that V6, quite a bit of performance to be got out of that with the right mods :D
