Ford Mustang to be released in EU

Will these new Mustangs have Ford's crappy keyless entry system like the Fiesta St and Focus RS's that can be stolen in under a minute?
It's sad to say but if they do they are going to be a no1 target for scumbags to steal as they stand out so much
Think a garage would be required to keep one of them in lol
Can't wait to see them on the road though they look Epic!

i think they do :( i didnt realise that was an issue -- how is it so simple to hack?!

Ford have already increased the price. Checked with the dealership my deposit is with and they said they are honouring prices for those who paid deposits.

Hopefully they will keep increasing the price to 40k+ eventually, keeps re-sale values strong. :)

ah maaaaaan :(

See an imported one at the local dealer this weekend just gone, was much bigger than I anticipated, just made me want one more! Fingers crossed for late 2016

I spotted one of these on the motorway a week ago, it was in the 3rd line on the other side. Have they been released yet?

No but plenty of US forces guys have them over here and you can get LHD versions over here imported of course.

RHD models won't appear until November onwards or early 2016. :)

Ive been driving one of these for about 10 days now and its quite awesome. Will be a shame when it goes back to conclude our holiday.

One thing ill mention though is there is an annoying throttle lag on it. I put my foot to the floor and it takes a couple of seconds to respond. Its an automatic. I ditched traction control which I think may have slightly improved it but its still a bit of an annoyance.

Other than that its really a fun car to drive. Looking over the huge bonnet took some getting used to but the ride quality of this thing surprised me. Its a convertible and its surprisingly quiet off throttle and doesnt mind bumpy roads too much. Its certainly not a boneshaker I thought it mighta been.

Throttle lag is no doubt because it is a Turbo. However Ford add in lag also on purpose to the throttle to make it easier to drive. Had this issue with my S197 Mustang, but nothing a remap does not fix.

Once I mapped mine it was instant, no delays at all. :)

Chris Harris like it : 5 litre V8

Gotta say out of all the journalist his approval is the one I trust the most. Deeply impressive for the base GT for 35k. :)

The roll/rubberised suspension feel is very easily remedied with either the Steeda or Eibach anti-roll bar and spring kit which is around £550 and if one wants to get serious then of course changing bushes etc. but not much point for a road car.

Looking forward to getting mine, wheels with MPSS, Eibach suspension kit and supercharger and it will be an absolute monster of a car. :D
