I forgot I'd recorded this, and kind of wish I hadn't remembered...
At least the track is an interesting layout this time, and they binned the utterly stupid formation lap. The safety car was comedy though. Taking 4 laps to pick up the leader because they are going at walking pace was pathetic.
But over all, it just felt like watching amateur hour. A pile of silly and clumsy crashes and mistakes all happening in slow motion.
But the biggest issue, those tyres. Choosing to run a single road style tyre is a massive mistake. It just can't take it. It can't cope with the torque under acceleration, can't hold on and makes the driver just a passenger under braking, and the cars don't go fast enough to generate downforce while cornering so they skip and bob all over the place. The cars would be far more interesting to watch with more mechanical grip. As it stands it's just watching 20 guys and girls spend 40 minutes trying to hold on to a field of slow undriveable cars.
