Fortnite - Gameplay Trailer

nice, only Legendary weapon i have is the shotgun, but i prefer the machine gun, just want to get a better one before i upgrade it, as its only a rare i think
 
And to think I was happy with a legendary survivor, and a handful of epics including 2 weapons yesterday! Kinda hooked on this game at the moment, few hours a day for the last week now :)


edit - Anyone know where the skill node is for evolving weapons?

So I've heard from a few friends that it's a fun game but has a horrific f2p model in terms of access to better weapons etc which will ultimately kill it (also seem to suggest that they'll be bored within a month or two). Seems reading up on reddit and other places that this view is quite widely shared.

Thoughts from those here playing?

I already have a ton of epic weapons and a few legendaries, but you got to bare in mind that your starting grid, will only have common things, but higher up you go the rarer the items , which is quite fair as you need good leveled up stuff the further you get as it gets hard. I tried a mission that was 10 levels above me, was good fun, but died once, but the other players where high enough level with me, so it wasn't too bad

Its on the second page of the skills, one node up from the start I believe - which allows evolution to two stars, and then the third star requires an end of second page skill (for individual weapon types).

Cool - thanks for confirming. Just need to get up to a specific mission being completed before I can upload the next tier of skills. Ended up just making the gun I was considering upgrading before making, turns out it's still awesome even if weaker than I can craft. Doesn't half eat ammo though :eek: Damn Rayguns...
 
Yeh servers were really flakey last night... Managed to get my legendary sniper rifle evolved and upgraded to level 25 last night. So good :D
 
ive pretty much maxed out what I use now (3 stars) so i need to start doing more main missions to get the stuff to craft for 4 star otherwise i cant create anything after I Evolve

So im doing my Plankerton SSD Wednesday if anyone wants to help

A new founders pack will be given out on the 29th, and founders llamas will be retired (any multiple of 100 founders coins will be turned into founders llamas so don't bother hoarding above 100). Storm tokens drop from then on to buy the storm llamas which drop new weapons and hero skins - pneumatic weapons with huge impact values by all accounts.

NEW MODE COMMING SOON (playable in beta now) called Battle Royale

Basically its humans Vs Humans
 
Not played in a few weeks now since going away for a few days. A PvP mode sounds like it could be interesting for a change of pace :)
