*** Forum Update - Official Issues Thread - Please check the OP for known issues ***

The new icons next to threads need some colour to easily differentiate, open and shut envelopes don't stand out enough ;). Also, please tidy up watched threads view so I can only see unread ones with an option to see all as previous.

sigh the pixel art is back

I believe u have the talent to make better icons than were made in paint shop pro 1.

Doesn't this forum software provide default icons for envelopes? All the other icons around the site are clear and modern.

No, the default Xenforo 'envelopes' are user avatars. By default, avatars in Xenforo are squares but masked in circles, so the threads would have squashed avatars next to them with a smaller avatar next to it to indicate you've posted in the thread. I don't believe that by default it's possible to tell if a thread has new posts or not by looking at the indicator. For example, this is how it would look for this thread using the default Xenforo theme.

was the envelope with the red dot at the side this morning a standard/xenforo thing? it did just look really clean/uniform for some reason
Literally two posts above yours, I've described the standard way Xenforo gives indicators next to threads....

And it was lovely. It looked clean, crisp and not from the early 2000s.

Edit: seen the envelope issue is marked as fixed. The dot is fixed, but the horrid pixelated images aren't. Is this going back on the list, or on a to do list?
