Hmm, nope. Someone just replied in a thread and it was still shown in my new posts...This is strange, I'm subbed to a couple of forums and I only get notifications of new threads being posted, not of every reply to them.

What happened to the updated envelopes that were live a few days ago? they fit the new theme better imo, now it's back to a mish mash of old and new icons.
The envelope confusion was because "empty open envelope" (which implies Read) was used for the Unread icon which used to be "open envelope with paper in it" (which implies Unread).
That mistake isn't a reason to abandon making modern icons, I hope they come back to it after dealing with higher priority stuff.
That caused confusion as well, but the icons all being the same colour was just not good visual design. If they aim to bring them back, make them obvious to differentiate between them, or you're just ignoring people with visual impairments.
Liking pixelated icons is a visual impairment.
It's like having a Lada badge on a Ferrari.
I agree the white was a bit much but the icons much nicer.
Easiest implementation would be to use those icons (the correct way round) using the colours we have now. Was only an icon font so changing the text colour on them should have solve that problem.
They look fine at 1080p. Which was fine over a decade ago, but everything else looks so smooth and flat they stand out with jagged edges on both my desktop (1440p), TV (2160p) and phone.Barely noticeable at all on desktop. This a mobile complaint you making?

we need to change them to scrolls, that'll end the confusion and arguements!I see envelopegate is still going strong.
I'm on 1440p and the jaggy envelope was the first thing I noticed. Wouldn't be the first time something annoyed me that nobody else cared about \o/ welcome to my life.
The breadcrumb menu is oddly formatted on mobile, inconsistent spacing between each menu entry and trailing '<'. Breadcrumb separator has inconsistent direction between desktop and mobile versions, desktop = '>', mobile = '<'.
Also, the envelopes we have now are the same envelopes we had last week before the upgrade.
This issue just won't be stamped out.I see envelopegate is still going strong.
