I was indeed, thanks for that. It wasn't completely obvious to me what had caused it.

The change theme button is too close to the alerts button, sometimes I click it by accident and have to cycle through them to get the blue theme back.

I just fixed twitter embeds now by blocking javascript from platform.twitter.com, also a speedup on page load blocking fetch requests from (xhr) syndication.twitter.com.

I have to now click on twitter links if I want to read but it feels like the old forum now in performance and not losing its alignment on page loads with twitter and sig embeds.

We have some performance settings to apply to handle all this once we have settled down the ui issues.

Ahh I hoped it was that, so I guess some stuff is temporarily tuned to help with debugging and performance might come back after?

Yes but not to the extent we have seen, it seems its been confirmed some debug stuff is enabled, so I expect its temporary.

That's exactly why I zapped it with Ublock.

Using umatrix, it can be done with ublock origin as well, but can only do javascript not XHR.

If in umatrix when the page is loaded with a twitter embed, click the extension icon, and change the square for the domain in the data type column to red, then click the padlock to save, next time you refresh or load any page on here with the twitter content, it should take affect.

For ublock origin you might need to put in advanced mode to be able to change the box to red. Do the right box in that so it affects this site only, unless you want it set globally in browser.
