Forza 2 Demo - Feedback

I looked at the comparison vid and its what i would expect, crap shadows/lighting/textures etc on the xbox one, forza 2 brings what we expect from next gen, hdr lightning, good shadows, reflections, textures, high rez the list goes on.
Look at the last gt on the ps2 and compare it to gthd on the ps3 its the same thing, enhanced textures, better lighting etc i think some people are expecting it to look like driving a car for real, we long time of achieving that level of gfx not even dx10 and what pc cards out/coming can do that.

The point is we all know what you think about the content, graphics, replays, brakes etc., so I don't see what your continued posting contributes that's new, as there is obviously only so much you can say without playing it.

Im not a PC racing sim person but for something to be judged in my own mind i then have to look at what its up against to determine how it compares and ultimately should be rated.
A point id like to make out is with so much criticisim from certain people not just DD hes not the only one forums are full of haters everywhere but im asking a reasonable question when i ask to be shown games on a PC that indeed do look and sound a lot better? Lets face it the PC is still the ultimate platform particulary for hardcore racing people so if someone comes along and shows me some videos or shots of a game that blows FM2 away then hell i might be interested in it...
Me im a casual gamer that enjoys racing games and will credit each title for its good factors, also criticse them for their poorer elements or bad points. I do however try to offer a balance of fair but realistic judgement.
Comparing FM2 now with FM1 and thinking their isnt much difference is a major major flawed attempt for some i presume to keep telling themselves theirs no need to get a HD console yet , or they simply dont have the money or additional hardware to take advantage of it...

Well you are right to that extent, and I think you'll find that I posted little yesterday about it. I have indeed pretty much said all I want to say now, and I guess I will only post again if questioned, or I feel I have something which adds further to the thread.
This is the stuck record syndrome again. Telling me that I may not comment on aspects of a game which I don't need the console to own. For example screenshots. For example content. If you feel I am trolling then RTM my posts rather than degrade the thread.Tried&Tested said:

As for Forza 1 and Forza 2 just compare speedo's for a start, ones a jagged mess the others smooth and clean.
Are you having trouble understanding my posts? I already agreed that it was a higher resolution than Forza 1. I actually asked whether the improvements in the graphics other than being HD and 60fps were sufficiently great for it to be called any more than Forza 1.5, or Forza HD. Bearing in mind that the actual content of the game is rather lightweight even compared to the light-on-content-itself Forza 1 (which I own).Mr Latte said:

Not trying to convince you or anyone but you should take onboard other peoples views that are impressed with the demo. You just seem to be negative about everything regarding it and comparing it to something else in some form of determination to prove in any way possible that its really so dissapointing or bad.
Personally i feel many people aint that good at racing games particulary sim types and thats why the game gets slated so much, same happened with F355 and original Forza. If anything the demo has showed what the devs have talked about most and thats nice handling particulary with the wheel (not the most sim, this is a console afterall) once you get the hang of it, well for me anyways its very nice to play.
Games should be fun..

In my experience what i see on screen is much better in majority of games and Forza 2 is one of them. Fair enough have your comments but you dont seem interested in consoles at all in a next gen console or no doubt you would have bought one by now. How about grab the game and check it out for yourself no point going on someone elses view. Countless times i have watched movies and people have criticised them and i have enjoyed them one person review of something is not anothers. How about playing it and you never know you might end up enjoying it no doubt there will be stands to play game on come release why not go and try them just a thought.
