Forza 5 Announced

nest gen/this coming gen is a stinking pile of pile, can't waint for xbox numbers two, or meybe three, less NSA.

edit, next console i'm buying is a 360 when my 360 dies.

Yeah..

Would like to think the season pass contains a few tracks as i'd pick it up. Hopefully pCars actually brings a decent selection of cars as it could be very good.

Season pass is cars only. Don't assume otherwise, you'll be disappointed. Nordschliefe hasn't been confirmed as January either. The only "source" for that is an advertising article in Evo Magazine, that also claims 24 player online when in reality it's 16.

Oh, and I think dunker lost his tin-foil hat somewhere. The Wi-Fi's been getting to him.

Can't say I'm not sad about the number of tracks, cars will be fine, 350+ by the end of the first year, sure its not the 1200+ on GT6, but better engine, better looking etc..!

Not sure whether to stick with the standard edition or go for a more pumped up one, just to confirm the 14/15 tracks is locations isn't it, not ribbons?

Hopefully the Behemoth will come with the 'ring DLC one day!!

Are any of the tracks in the game through cities or scenic places on the road?

I dont like the idea of just racing around proper race tracks all the time, will get kind of boring.

Hey, I'm sure this will be of interest to those that find the Drivatar intriguing.
Watch the screen as the player exits the first corner.

Finally, unpredictable! Races will never get boring now!

I was always curious how it would look or affect the game and tbf that's actually quite nice to see in action!
Assuming it was Drivatar, I can't wait to see how the AI performs with a few months worth of action behind it. You should see everything from people who religiously keep to the driving line, to the idiots who will try and PIT you if you overtake them.

I'm hoping for good things from Drivatar, one thing I can't stand are dull SP racing games where pretty much every race is an easy win unless you use something severely underpowered.

Unfortunately, that's pretty much everything to date so it's going to be a big change to the genre if they pull it off.

I think it's an overused word in gaming, but if it works like it's meant to, it will be revolutionary for the genre. No more dull SP racing will be amazing.

Get ready guys!

Wait so Drivatar is something you have to mold by doing lessons? Cant you have them in the car when you are just playing the game SP or MP?

ps3ud0

I think that's an old article, as I remember doing lessons in Forza 1. I don't think the Drivatar in Forza 5 works like that.

Yeah, I read that one but have no idea what its going on about.
What Drivatar does is watch you drive, and forms a profile based on how you perform. Do you brake late or early? Are you an aggressive overtaker? It creates an AI based on what you do, and continues to refine it as you race more. When you're connected online, the game will download other Drivatars to use as your opponents. This in theory means you will get much more realistic AI opponents than ever before.
