Forza 5 Announced

I think theres been some changes to ensure they hit 1080p 60fps.How different it is, is up for debate - really need someone like DF to look at it as its not a convincing argument to use Youtube. I think 2D crowds is incidental to other changes that have been made, just the more obvious one...

It's real the IGN guys inspected the crowd around Spa on the 'reveal' thing they did yesterday, they're just flat textures that pivot and face your car and I remember laughing yesterday over two identical 'twins' being stood next to each other.

I think Forza 5 has been heavily rushed to meet launch date.

Can't disagree with being rushed but overall they've still done a fantastic job and it has scored well amongst reviewers. Imagine if they had just a little more time, we'd be seeing 9's and 10's across the board.

I just wish reviewers had the balls to come out and just be ****ing honest. Looking forward to seeing it on a mates tomorrow to draw my own conclusions in the flesh, but from the comparison screens and the various vids I've seen, this game is an absolute shadow of the E3 BS footage we were fed.

And Dan G, I really can't see the Autovista quality cars during the race. XB1 didn't have the power you were hoping for did it. :mad:

FM6 will be the real game me thinks. It need to raise its game big time with Project Cars, and maybe GT7 around the same time

In honesty that just makes me feel that reviewers have been dishonest unless they marked the game down on the graphics front.

Why would that make them dishonest? I think most reviews have marked the game down primarily for it being lighter on the content side compared to previous releases. The visuals are still very good.

Do tell, I haven't been following forza. Is it along the lines of taking content out and selling back to the customer as dlc?
