Forza 5 Announced

Played a bit of this today, not sure what the AI was based on but they just kept crashing into you at the turnings and it didn't look spectacular. I hope the full version has quicker loading times because that was crazy slow!

One of the cars was like this in Forza 4, I think it was the Escort Cosworth.

If you played with cockpit view the mirrors showed what was going on on the wrong side of the car.
For example someone passing on the right would appear in the left mirror, I don't think they ever did patch it out.

Forza 5 looks fantastic, the above "issue" never bothered me in Forza 4 so it won't bother me (if it is that way) in Forza 5 either. Can't wait to get hold of my copy.
 
This game is costing me £500 so it better be good :)

I love the Forza series though and have no doubt I'll like this one to.
 
Must admit I'd love this to be on PS4 (getting one of those). Gran Turismo has been a fail boat since number 4 and I remember enjoying forza 2 and 3.

Can't justify getting an xbox1 aswell though just for this :(

Glad to hear this ,, as i was undecided between the ps4 and XB1 due to the lower res , but for me all i am after is a racing game as the pc is for FPS games :D , and was actually playing with the idea of just getting GT6 on the ps3 till Drive club got released then get a PS4,, but something just told me the minute that i cancelled my XB1 and Forza 5 that i knew i would be sorry :)
 
You seriously didn't expect DLC? T10 did a season pass with FM4 for 2400points if memory serves, around £25.

The FM5 one is more expensive, conversion + VAT works out around £37. Yeah that's a bit cheeky considering it £429 for the console/game at minimum, but the DLC is optional.

No, I expect DLC, but not on day ****ing one of release!

That is hard to stomach.

Throw in the rumours:

And T10 could even be pushing the ring as DLC.

I'm not sure I want to support this from T10, and I might cancel my day one edition with it, and get my day one edition with fifa 14 instead.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if they do go DLC with The Ring, they know any motorsport fan will want this and so they sadly will charge for it - hope not though!
