Forza 6 announced

I did the Road Atlanta 100 & Catalunya 100 Endurance races lastnight, they were excellent, both are in stock GT3 cars.

Only 1 pit stop needed in the cars i used (SLS & Lambo) for fuel.

I'm going to wait until i have 3x 100% credit or XP boost mods before i do the longer Sebring 250, i've heard that one is a 3 hour race. I'll just do the short races until then.

I played this for a bit last night, I want to enjoy it, I'm trying but I just can't put up with the hideous graphics, it's a jaggy fest. This is what we can expect from the devs and "next gen" it seems. Very poor.

The poor graphics were the first thing I noticed (obviously) but after a while you get used to it although the flickering/tearing in the road on some tracks is still distracting.

For me the killing point was the terrible AI/Drivatars.. I've mentioned it a couple of times in the thread so won't go over it again but it is terrible. I think the funniest thing was when I was on a straight a drivatar caught up to me so fast it ran into the back of me and managed to flip my car... seriously it must have been doing twice my speed yet apparently was the same class! I'll play it more when they've sorted out the bugs and hopefully by that time online will be better to.

gameplay over graphics

while DC looks good, the gameplay is utter tosh compared to forza 6.

and forza 6 looks great IMO.

then again if graphics is what you play, how comes you bother with DC? just jump on PC and max out pCARS! now that will own everything

Been playing this the last couple of days and really enjoying it, one thing I have found thats quite annoying, which is going into a night race in a racecar with no headlights, makes it kinda hard to stay on track tbh.

Both look incredible. Shame Driveclub is **** though.

So I finished all the volumes..

So I thought.. then it tells me I can do them all again with all the classes. A quick calculation tells me that's 450 races.

5 volumes with 6 different classes and 15 events per volume. 5x6x15=450 :eek:

I've not even looked at the Showcases yet or online.

I have both too, and Pcars, Drive Club is quite a level higher in visuals than anything else imo.

DC was garbage when it came out but its much better recently.

I'm too busy having fun to notice any "jaggies" ... if they exist. Given the choice of "jaggies" or fps dips, I'd take the "jaggies".

I think the handling and controls is a lot better on Forza than PCars a few jaggies is no issue for me....

Ouch. Wait until you start the endurance races! I got the game a week early as I ordered the ultimate edition and am currently progressing through volume 2. If you just mainly concentrated on the 'career mode' what driver level did you reach by the end?

I love the feature, you can walk round your car, open the bonnet, the boot, the doors. Get in and fire it up

just like owning the real thing

I'm looking forward to the endurance races. A 3hr race would be good fun if the AI isn't completely useless.

I've been playing it on Pro and I've had to restart a few races to get anywhere near the target. I'm enjoying this a lot more than FM5
