Yup. At it's peak there was a great community. Having fun with your mates, both real world and virtual. Good times.

Still in contact with a fair few, had a meet up at the Brands BTCC round a couple of months ago ... banter flowing freely.

A good number are iRacing now.

No wheel support. Not even my very expensive Xbox One compatible Fanatec. Then again it's Beta...

360 wheels don't work on the Xbox One, so who knows if they'll work with Forza Apex. I doubt it.

Cheers for the details. Thats fair I guess in a beta.

The 360 wheel has been in the garage for years now so no telling if it would work anyway....I do still have Forza 3 and my 360 so could test ahead of time.

And "in theory" if win 10 picks it up it might just maybe work one day....I can dream anyway.

Back to the beta, I only did the first 2 races so far but fell in love straight away.

No idea what Frame rate am getting but @1440p Ultra its Very, Very Smooth. Although I did need to disable Freesync.
I heard Windows 10 apps dont work well with Freesync and Gsync?

Hmm, doesn't seem to keen on 1920x1200 - appears to be vertically stretching 1080p.

Butter smooth, and lovely looking on Ultra.

What are people using to check the fps? I usually use steams built in one so have never needed a standalone app before.

if you wanna keep freesync enabled, you can move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen so you get the top of the window showing on the screen. For some reason, this gets rid of the flicker and nasty experience when running fullscreen with freesync enabled.

Frame rate was all over the place when settings were "dynamic" but now I've set everything to "ultra", it works a dream on my 980ti.

I am really enjoying this. I haven't had any issues with it touch wood so far. It looks and runs really well on my rig (i7 + gtx980ti) @ 4k. Just gutted there is no wheel support.
