Forza Horizon 4

Just sorted xbox game pass today and installed this, done a bench and wondering if everything looks ok performance wise as i was wondering about the 94% gpu limit thing.

Seems preset is maxed i think, 75hz is my monitor with freesync which actually felt like freesync works for a change as seemed very smooth. Running on vega 56 pulse 19.12.1 drivers and 3570k at 4.2ghz
 
Are you seeing any stutter?

Your CPU can't keep up. I had a similar problem (but much, much worse) when I had my i5 2400. It was fixed with a CPU upgrade (Ryzen 5 2600).
 
gone from running medium preset @ 144 HZ to HIGH preset @ 144 HZ
Changed my GPU from a RX580 to a 5700 XT

much better :D
much sharper, reactions are better too

going to try ultra next

looks fine

when you play the game, do you have the preset on medium or high or ?
 
If it runs smooth then it's ok
If not, high would be better becuase of your CPU

I was running high with an rx580 @72 fps
Couldn't fo ultra smoothly

High for me was a struggle @ 144hz, so as it was going in and out of quality , so I dropped to medium and its fine
 
since i bought sensas sacrafice, ive been playing that every day
completed it, but ive not gone back to FH, I've been absent for a few weeks now

i know im not missing much, its quite dead

Enjoying this on gamepass but my GTX 970 is struggling with it, got it on a mix of medium and high settings which stays smooth most of the time (i7 3930k).

Think its the lack of video ram but then graphics cards are so expensive now that its tempting just to buy a Xbox one X if that can play the game on ultra.

Must just be the 970s lack of VRAM, I maxed the game out at 1440p on a 1070 playing with very solid frame rates.

used 1070s can be purchased for less than £200 on MM last time I looked.

Interesting, will keep an eye out but guess it's a bit of a tricky time for selling second hand
