Forza Horizon 4

I installed this on the Rog ally last night with low expectations... I was blown away to see a solid 60fps and 1080p. Extremely fun game to enjoy in chunks too, highly recommend!

Been running on the Ally since I got it, it works great with 15W performance mode, so I don't need to listen to the fans scream. Great way to collect my 275 MS Reward points each day.

all i get is this screen

Try the other usual step if it's on Xbox too.

Check for systems and security updates and install any new ones, plus check in the windows store itself and check for updates on the apps there

Game is being delisted on 15/12/24.

Currently on sale on Steam.

Q: Will I still be able to play FH4 even after it gets delisted?

Yes, you will still be able to enjoy playing the game including its multiplayer and online functions.

Q: When will the final Festival Playlist happen?

It’s scheduled to start on July 25 and end on August 22

Q: What will happen to the game after the final Festival Playlist ends?

Every car that was previously Festival Playlist- exclusive will now be available to obtain via Backstage Pass. You will be able to complete daily and weekly challenges as well as Forzathon Live Challenges to earn points and obtain Backstage Passes.

Q: I’m an Xbox Game Pass player, what will happen to the DLC I purchased for the game?

If you own any DLC for Forza Horizon 4 and a fully paid Xbox Game Pass subscription you will receive a game token completely free.

Q: Why are you delisting the game from digital retailers?

Due to agreements with licensing and other partnerships ending.

Q: What will happen to physical copies of the game that are bought after delisting?

Those copies will still work as normal with the changes to the Festival Playlist we have detailed here: aka.ms/FH4Delisting

Q: Does this mean you are shutting down online servers and features?

No, even after the Festival Playlist ends and the game is no longer available at online retailers, you will still be able to use every offline and online feature of the game.

So weirdly friends and I played it on gamepass and bought the ultimate expansion pass to play with it. One of the gang has had an email saying "as a sign of our appreciation for buying add on content, here is a code for the full standard game"

Yet to hear if others have yet....just checking horizon forums

Yep, they are rolling the codes out to DLC purchasers with current Gamepass subs.

Seems like playing on steam ignores all your progress, even though you're logged into you xbox account.

Not too fussed as happy to play through again, it's defo the best FH imo. But would be nice if it preserves all your previous high scores in the club tables.

Going to pick this up before it goes off from Sale. Normally im more of a simmer but I did enjoy this one when playing it on Gamepass FH5 i lasted all of about 15 minutes before wanting to put the pc through the window.
My question standard, deluexe or ultimate? looekd on steam page normally it shows you all the extra content. But for Fh4 it doesnt :(

I'd recommend the ultimate edition so you get all the expansions. Plus, once the game is delisted ... that's it, the chance to upgrade is gone forever.

They got a bit of stick at the time, but I miss the seasons from FH4 as they at least had more of an impact on the game world. In 5 it's just sunny all the time with pre determined locations for the odd storm or dust blowout. 5 went overboard with the free cars and and wads of money thrown at you too.

I also hate how they managed the open lobbies in 5, people disappear from the map when out of range, the traffic seems way lower, it just makes the world feel a bit dead. In the old ones you could see everybody on the map at all times, you'd usually see a big congregation of players and wonder what was going on, then end up joining them for a cruise/race.

Ah fair enough, I've got fh5 4 bypassed me due to not having sufficient hardware when I finally got the hardware required people said 5 was very similar so decided to get the newer version of the game.

I got proper into it to start with but then got bored of it relatively quickly. I found myself driving around aimlessly with a lack of story or direction for the festival which makes me wonder why the festival is there in the first place, could easily do without the festival part of it and the menu system isn't that intuitive imo.

I do agree cars seem to be thrown at you left right and centre, fm7 went to far the other way and just sucked the enjoyment out of it, also has a clunky UI making the game confusing.

On the flip side, it's a nice game to pick up and drop whenever the mood takes.

After a few hours yesturday this still holds up well. Looks a little dated visually in places but for a arcade racer its a blast. Very Minimal woke crap. Well worth the £15.
