>>> Forza Horizon 5 <<<

Made a shedload yesterday buying GT-R's from the autoshow, sticking my paintjob & tune on them then selling on auction for ~150k profit per car. Don't know how many I did (maybe 20?) but hit the daily limit for auctioning cars :)

The biggest pain with the auction is how slow it is to either receive your credits or your car back, one by one while the server struggles to load.

Its a little better if you go into details & collect credits from the 'My Auctions' page, still painfully slow mind

Still got 6 GT-R's I can't sell as I've exceeded some auction limit, assumed would be daily but been more than 24hrs since I started spam selling them yesterday I think :)

Is there any kind of path you're supposed to follow? I have no idea what I'm doing so I just play clean up the minimap icons a bit like a Ubisoft game

You can do whatever you want in any order.

I wanted to stop the annoying cut scenes every time i got a festival upgrade point and then wanted free fast travel to any road.

So I drove every road and got a couple of points at each PR stunt I found. I did most of it in my AWD A-Team van so 2 stars on most things was easy. This was enough for all the festival upgrades.

Then I broke all XP and fast travel boards and bought the house that let's you fast travel to any road.

I'm at level 120 odd without doing any non seasonal races or stories so far.

Unpopular opinion no doubt; I’m not sure what I was really expecting but having played a ton of FH4 and eventually got bored, I’m almost instantly bored within a couple of hours with FH5.

People over at the GTA Definitive Edition forum are telling themselves that they haven't just bought a turd for near enough full price.
First world problems aye !!

The car drop rewards cars from the Eliminator are easy to get at the moment due to the server issues. Instead of stopping for a few seconds to disappear from the map. Just drive around and barely see anyone.

If you haven't played this before, just drive to the purple smoke to secure each car drop.

- Porsche 918 Spyder = secure 50 car drops (I think I've managed 8 or 9 in a game)
- Veyron SS = play 20 games
- Hooligan Focus = secure 5 car drops in a game
- Aventador SV = eliminate 2 players (find people in slow cars)

Is there any benefit to scoring more than the required points for the season, or do you just stop when you get enough for both the seasonal bonus cars?

I tried Elimanator but can't really tell what's going on. You don't seem to get much info on the mini map as to where to go, apart from vague arrows. I managed to collect 1 car and then got eliminated.

What's a good general car to complete all the speed traps? I think in FH4 I used an Audi or Ferrari with a X tune, but I don't have enough credits to mess around too much with trial and error!

The more series points you get the easier it will to get the 2x Series cars for the month. If there is a snow week, those are the worst for PR stunts.

The Eliminator is just Forzas version of Battle Royale, the arena shrinks, press your horn to race people to knock them out. Then when 10 cars are left (sometimes a few more) there is a final race to somewhere on the map to get the winner. Try to get a high level car before the final race. The highest drop car is level 9, if you beat someone in it you can swap for a level 10 car.

I haven't gone through the speed traps yet, but any car Tuned to X Class should do it easily,

I've shared a few more Blueprint's that work for the Hall Of Fame Accolades for winning 10 races against Unbeatable drivatars on the various race types. They should also be fine for any future series races if a track isn't specified.

HOF - Time Trials - Street (sharecode: 563 782 006)
HOF - Time Trials - Cross Country (sharecode: 123 757 502)
HOF - Time Trials - Dirt (sharecode: 975 940 266)
HOF - Time Trials - Road (sharecode: 797 044 298)

All are set to Unbeatable, with no Drivatar's so they are pretty much time trials, drive anything you want. Road, Dirt & Road are all just 1 lap.

This is the first FH game I've played so I was going in pretty much blind.

I'm not sure whether I like it or not, I don't get what the main objective of it is. It feels like it wants to be a racing game but without longer races (I guess that's what Forza is for..). I open the map and see a ton of icons which are obviously events and things to do/collect but still, what's the main story of the game? I don't even know where to go to progress the story/career, I've just been smashing those purple XP board, driving random roads and doing odd race or whatever.

It looks nice and with it being free on Game Pass I can't complain too much, I'll keep at it to see if I get more into it.

For me its just a game that I can pick up and play as and when, with two young children it suits me down to the ground. You can't really think of it as a game with an ultimate end point.

Yeah I guess you're spot on tbh, it is easy to pick up and play. It's not that I dislike it, I just wanted to know if there was an actual aim to the game.

Exactly this for me, something i can pick up when I have a spare 30-60 mins when the kids are out the way. I find it quite a relaxing way to unwind without any real pressures or aims. But I'm probably not doing it properly
