Forza Motorsport 3 Demo Discussion Thread

only been playing a few hours but just managed 1:14.0xx with the lancer evo, all assists off.
Was quite impressed untill i saw its still like 8 seconds off the fastest pace >.<

For some reason im actually slower with the assists on ;o
 
I think the reason I like this demo so much is the fact that the handling, regardess of realism, are actually fun, whereas fm2 was just bland, didn't feel like I was in charge of the car
 
So it's goin down in the mini.. just beaten Dreeders time in the Evo.. time to slay more of you! Gonna have to add Timdog..

Must admit, initial impressions of the demo wernt up to much.. but getting the handling going now..

Still don't know how I feel about the rewind button though.. it feels like cheating..

Yep, just select their entry on the leaderboards and it comes up with race their ghost.

I seem to be missing some aspect though.. i had a last lap faster than my best..?! Surely that is now my best..
 
Yeah, you get a ! symbol next to the current lap time. Seems quite sensitive - I keep triggering it at the first corner.

EDIT : Oh and bottoming out also triggers it...

I'm massively slower with assists on. Just got a 1:15 on the mini
 
01:13:189 with the mini after a few laps. Can not stop playing this demo :D

GT is F T W Bricktop if anyone wants to add. F T W without any spaces as i can not type it on the forum :P
 
Would love to know how I'm compairing to fellow members, so if anyone fancies adding me, my GT is "Memphis Reins", without the quotes :).
