at the end of the day thats what you need in a striker. someone who gets the ball in the back of the net doesnt matter how it is done just that the ball is in the netOriginally posted by CliffyG
Fowler is the best finisher but thats about it.

on that basis alone then RVN is better than Henry

Not at all, he has to be in the right place, be able to take people on etc etc.

But what is the point of either of those if you cant score?
and I would say that RVN is better than henry and henry is amasing

and rvn is NOT better than henry, rvn relys only on good service while henry doesnt and can make his own goals and provides a lot more as well, lets not turn this fowler vs anelka thread into a henry vs rvn thread

ok they are both good.................................................but henry is better

don't think he needs any with his patented 0-5-5 formation

My opinions below:
Finishing: Fowler
Speed: Anelka
Control: Fowler
Anticipation: Fowler
Movement: Fowler
Heading: Tied, neither do it often enough
Creativity: Tied, I've noticed that Fowler isn't as greedy as he appears in his time at Leeds and creates quite a bit
Experience: Fowler - This is because although Anelka has spent time at great clubs, including Real madrid, he hardly played for them!
I think Fowler is far superior and I'd much rather have him in my side than Anelka.
