The day OcUK stop using DPD will be a very sad day indeed. DPD are by far the best delivery company in my opinion.
LOL Really! Been waiting 2 days for a hdd, i dread to think what state it will be in after 3 days in transit.

They're just as bad as Citylink... 2 days now they claimed to have tried to deliver. Landmark (work) - White Door, card left... its blue! Today (home): Glass door, card left... its white!!!

Poor excuse for delivery company :(

I wish that OcUK would use Royal Mail personally, as if it wasn't left with a neighbour I could simply drive to the depot to pick it up.

You can select Royal Mail. If you selected Next Day, and it didn't turn up next day. Then contact OcUK. I had one problem where a order didn't turn up until 5PM even though it was scheduled for Midday however there was a huge accident and it set him hugely behind his trip. I've been ordering since the day I joined the forum and one problem isn't too bad :)

Can you leave a post in the Customer Service section with your order number please?

City Link are no where near the standards of DPD in my opinion, and we have used both companies.

DPD have depots too.

Bit strange regarding the door colours, I will have to check with them, maybe gone to the wrong address, but I can look into it for you on Monday. :)

It's in OcUKs interest to use the best delivery company that costs them the least amount in terms of returns because of damage in transit or leaving your delivery in the garden, etc. All while still charging a reasonable amount for delivery in comparison to the competition but DPD are in another league. I've still not used their new tracking system and go off the old 1 hour window they text you.

I'm sure we've all seen Watchdog and what happens with our normal internet orders. Some companies employ drivers that don't always take pride in their work but they are in the minority. I've never failed to be impressed with the dedicated of DPD even though there will be some they disappoint on occasion but it isn't what most of us experience here time and time again.

I called you on Friday.

I do like the tracking option, but not when it's blatantly obvious that they haven't even tried to deliver and just made up a door colour.

My 2 previous orders arrived at my work address no problem, and they always get to my home address, so I really don't understand what's going on this time.

Hmm... sorry, I take it back, they're not as bad as Citylink... im just rather wound up with sitting around in earshot of the door all day yesterday, knowing that I'll be doing the same on Monday... with the possibility of not getting my hdd :(

Ordered an i5 2300 and a Foxconn H67 motherboard yesterday at about 4pm, it's arrived today safe and sound just after 4pm, fantastic service OCUK, thanks a lot! :D

I am a KW1 postcode , the whole thing is a rip-off , i am on mainland UK but the couriers use it as an excuse not to deliver to us . Some KW1 is orkney isles but we are highlands on the mainland .

It is discrimination and annoying at that , i can order something from aberdeen ( a 3-4 hour drive ) and get charged a fortune delivery but they will haul something from aberdeen to the south coast of England about 15 hours away for free, really annoying for us up here.
