Having known about OCUK for a few years I've just recently tried using it due to problems with a competitor's customer service: so far OCs advantages are this offer in a month and a half for myself and very active forums, along with a better range of stock.
At first glance the prices seemed slightly higher (to the tune of £40 for an entire build I want); without shipping, however, the difference is negligable.
Or to cut my post down to size: this makes OCuk the most attractive vendor I've found so far.

Unless I'm missing something, there's an error on the OCUK site.
When I view my basket, I see:
Shipping : FREE
Now, I'm pretty sure (seeing as I'm very naughtily double posting [thought this would be ok since it's a different issue?] and can see my own post) that I have neither 250 posts+90 days membership, nor 100 posts and a year membership. In fact, it's more like 35 posts and a week.
Not sure whether this is a glitch or just another offer I missed (one of the parts in my basket have free shipping or something?). Also, I tried adding my forum account again before realising I'd already done so. Whether that has anything to do with it IDK.
Anyway, figured it better get looked at?

Hi,
No problem - it said free because the only shipping option available was collect from our shop (I assume you haven't added a delivery address yet and your basket was over the weight for royal mail. As it was too heavy for royal mail and DHL is only available with a valid postcode the only option it had to give was collection, which is of course free.
If there was any other option it would normally choose that rather than show collection which is not usually what the customer wants.

Hi,
It doesn't automatically check the forums database when you checkout - only when you link your forums account with your shop account in the account page.
To get it to re-check your eligibility for free shipping you need to link the account again, maybe something we should look at from a usability perspective
I've given it a nudge for you now so you'll get the free shipping option next time you checkout.

I had already linked my forum account to the shop one, but reading the previous posts, I think I may have linked it before I had reached 100 posts and then tried to link it again after, causing the problem.
