Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

DPD have always been great around here. We usually get the same driver and he is a nice chap. Having a time slot for delivery is awesome, plus a way of changing delivery or having driver put the parcel somewhere safe etc is superb. DPD are the best i have come across so far!

Done :) only 4 hours or so left until the cutoff point for next day so hopefully it'll get sorted by then!

Edit: Nevermind :( It wasn't done in time and now my basket has gone back up to the pre this-week-only price. :(

I've given someone a poke to get in touch and reply to your CS thread. :)

Ordered something monday, had free DPD next day. Trying to order some more things and it only offers free royal mail 2 day delivery?

Am I only allowed it once a week?

My first order was tiny, a wifi antenna.

I dont mind 1st class, but they want to charge me £6.02 for it.

Just wanted some free shipping so I get it by the weekend, but I guess ill just have to go free 2nd class and wait.

My first free delivery was for an Acer X34 monitor so it was quite an expensive purchase and I was giddy to receive it obviously!

Anyway OCUK using DPD has always been a big reason why I will order from them even if I could save a few quid from a competitor.

Back to the X34 example I was able to follow the drive to within close proximity on my smart phone and then step outside the front of the building and flag him down knowing his GPS would be directing him to a different location on the trading estate.

U sure uve got ur free shipping setup correctly as i never pay for 1st class

I've not changed anything since I ordered on monday, and that worked.

I've just ordered it with 2nd class now, which is free anyway. Im not paying when I know I dont have too.

I might get it by the weekend still.

Haven't posted on here for a while, haven't upgraded my pc for a while either, but with FO4 on the horizon, I've been looking at a budget upgrade.

However I don't appear to be getting the free shipping, which I think I qualify for (although as I've already said haven't posted for a while)

I've read through this thread and seen advice to post in the customer services thread, but that appears set to 'private' and I can't view it.

Can't seem to see how to link the forum account on the website either.

Was thinking about ordering for delivery tomorrow, but then remembered about the free shipping and have been stuck trying to work it out for a while.

I suppose if I'm not entitled to free shipping, it's not that big a deal, but free shipping would help with the budget.

Customer Service section is private, if you create a thread in there, the thread can only be seen by you and staff. - Post in there, and it shall be resolved for you. :)

Ahh, that makes sense, didn't think I could create a thread there as it was private, Thanks 5UB :)

Unfortunately, after I posted earlier, for some reason I lost connection to the forum, just couldn't get it to load, so I'll miss the 4pm cut off today for delivery tomorrow.

But I will post in the CS forum and get it sorted out soon, then probably order at some point next week, as wont get it for the weekend now and I'm back to work next week.

FO4's not out till Nov 10th anyway, so I still have a little time left to get the upgrade sorted out ;)

I would hazard a guess that it cost OCUK around the low £4.xx per box mark to send a box with DPD.
If there isn't a £4.xx margin in the item, you won't be getting it via DPD.

Saying that, I would want a lot more than £4.xx GP on an item before I offered free carriage to that amount so imagine it's not just based on the size of item, there will be price implications in the decision as well.

That's fine, just doesn't state anything

I didn't expect DPD, just next day, being RM or DPD

Or they should firm up their terms and conditions, then I wouldn't keep going on about it, lol

I would say just be grateful for free delivery. I had a small item delivered via DPD earlier in the week. Now, my next small item is via RM. No problem really. Would be nice to have everything DPD but i know that is asking too much i guess
