Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

Could someone please explain how you build up your posts count?
I have been a member since Oct 2002..and although not a prolific poster... I have noticed of late my post count seems to yoyo.. and grow very slowly compared with the number of posts my forum account stats tell me I have made.

Search: Posts Made By: Trying ................ Showing results 1 to 25 of 62

I am just worried I will never reach the number of posts required to receive free delivery at this rate. :(

Certain places you post don't count towards your post count, I believe the whole latest deals area is one of those as well as the new members.

Is the free 2nd Class Royal Mail delivery option offered to Loyal Forum Members a Tracked Service please, or does it vary according to the value of the order?

Thanks!

From memory the free shipping method varies depending on the value and size of the item, so if it's low value and light it'll likely be RM first or second class, if it's more valuable or larger it'll usually be something like DPD.

I ordered a CPU and some ram the other week which arrived via DPD for example.

I just wanted to post to say that I'm disappointed in the free shipping options now. I just went to buy a Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD @ £38.99 and the only option it would give me for free is royal mail 2nd class which is currently taking about a week to arrive. Over on another large website that contains many trees the drive is the same price and it should be coming next day with free delivery on a certain free trial.

Obviously changes have been made for good reasons I'm sure but for me at least it's meant I'd rather order elsewhere to have it arrive quicker so that it can be used sooner.

DPD Next Day is available. But not on low value orders, it is not viable sending items that cheap via courier. Add something else to your basket to bump up the value/weight of the order and it will give you the option for DPD Next Day.

2nd Class doesn't usually take a week, usually delivered within 3 days. In this case it seems they are probably busy from the Black Friday backlog and the run up to Christmas.

I think it is around £40-50 depends on the size of the items too though. For example a £20 computer case isn't going to be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class. :)

cant get free delivery?

ive had the free delivery on my past 10+ orders

trying to order somthing today but its charging me £8.70 for delivery?

Any news about you doing something for us that live up here. It's been mentioned several times that it will be looked at yet nothing ever gets heard about it again. It's bad enough that we no longer get free shipping unless it's small, lightweight or cheap but even by paying for delivery there's still no next day unless we select RM which is often even more expensive. Even the small, light, cheap items it only works 50% of the time. Recently I tried ordering a pair of connectors from the water cooling clearance section and the delivery charge was 4x the cost of the two items so needless to say I went elsewhere. Even my last order for six OCUK/Silverstone fans when they were on offer I had to split the order in two to get the free delivery. God I hate DPD!! All three places that I used to get free delivery with swapped to DPD and I lost free shipping straight away. I know avoid all three of you and mostly use Amazon for my main components these days. DPD are also terrible here. I have never had a delivery time slot or email or text update from them.

Try re-linking your account. - If that fails, make a thread in the Customer Service part of the forum to see if they can help you.

Nothing right now unfortunately mate, but as far as I am aware it is on the radar.

I have ordered from overclockers so many times, not for my self but for friends who want to get into PC gaming and I never knew about free shipping until a couple months ago when I decided to actually use my forum account. This could have saved my friends a lot of money overall lol
