Fuel up/down again

I can't even remember what I said it was so long ago but you are right - a massive interest rate rise would cause that. But it would cause that because a lot of people though 'I can finally afford a house now the base rate is 0.5%' and off they went with no future foresight at all.

Actually, I am right. And I wasn't criticising Fox, merely pointing out I think it will be worse than he suggested.

Of course your right, because you repeated what he said just with different wording then claimed you had "fixed" it ^^ I was just pointing out it was right before it got "fixed" too :P

Tesco momentum 99 is 136.9p here.

Sainsbury's super is 5p less here, doesn't make a diff to my car so roll on good times, sure beats the 142.9p at the Shell garage a couple of miles away ^^

The pennsylvania one I take it? :p 140.9 for Tesco 99 couple of days ago.

Yup, got it in one. The nearest Shell and on my way to the M4 anyways. Not cheap mind! Only other Shells or BPs round this way I can think of are in Bristol.

Is Sainsbury's Super alright? I know Dad has twice had dodgy Super from Esso (maybe they don't sell much and it was old?) so I stick to Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate.

The only thing that annoys me about Sainsbury's Super is that my local station only has it on the middle set of pumps, not the outer set, which for reasons unknown to me everyone uses to fill up with bog standard diesel, so if I want Super I usually have to queue up for a few minutes despite there being about 5 totally empty pumps.

BP are really expensive as well. I just keep to Tesco 99 now if filling up locally (even better with the 5p off vouchers).
