Fuji X Series

It's a super lens and when I tested mine against my Canon 70-200 f4 L IS on my 6d ii the Fuji lens was on par and that Canon was the sharpest telephoto zoom lens I'd ever owned.
You may find it gets a tad soft from 140-200mm however I find it still perfectly sharp. I think a lot of people who complain it's soft at that range are just spoiled because the 55-140 range is so darn good!

I know what you mean but it's sharp enough for my liking.

200mm f/4.8 and straight off the camera, no processing:

Hope i'm not waiting too long for it. :)

What do you recommend lens wise? I've got a tab open for the 35 1.4 you linked earlier in the thread, would like a wider prime to go with it though. :)

The 35 1.4 is very nice. It does have some quirks being one of the oldest lenses, but it's damn good. The F2 versions are also good. The 16 1.4 and 56 1.2 are great primes too. I think you'll need to decide on a focal length, 35 can be a bit tight indoors unless you like closer more intimate shots e.g.

If you want to save a little cash I wholly recommend the Viltrox 23mm 1.4. I was using my 35mm f2 for indoor shots and felt I needed something a little faster, enter the Viltrox. Cracking lens and every bit as sharp as my native 35mm.
Provides that classic full frame equivalent 35mm focal length.
We had a little girl 8 weeks ago (our first) and I tell you that 23mm hasn't left my X-H1 since she came home.

I believe many would say it's the 56mm f1.2 however I can't speak from experience. The other one would be he 90mm f2 which I do have and it is something else.

Hey guys, are there any resources using an XT-3? Brand new to me, just trying to get to grips, there are lots of quirks. Things like today I went to use my Samyang 12mm, got it all working, and couldnt select an exposure time using T, as it doesn't appear to be configured via the command dial. Lots of little things like that, that I guess need looked at and me to work them out. Also, focus peeking, is there a way to zoom into the zoom? I still struggle to see if its in focus or not?

Yes, this is a superb tutorial/guide that'll teach you the camera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p_bHajS3kM

As above, watch some YouTube videos. Also have a look in the manual if there’s something specific you’re trying to do.

I’m really liking mine, just need to find some unusual locations to shoot
Shouldn’t be too hard in Scotland?

I’ve recently subbed back to Thomas Heaton on YouTube and saw his latest video of his new vehicle for going on solo hikes etc, really makes me want to quit my job and do it too :p
