Well the X100F arrived and it’s in perfect condition, some minor marks on the feet which you can hardly see, can’t wait to get out and take some shots
Condition dependant some are going for £1,800 or over 2k which is a joke
you can get an x100v brand new from einfinity for £1669 with one year warranty, that is from abroad of course but it better than a used one
however i bought a used x100v a couple of years back for well under £1000 before the prices unfairly hiked and it was good but my X-T3 was a better camera and cheaper.
I own the 50-140 and think it is a fantastic lens, worth getting your hands on it first though as it is relatively large. I use it with my Xt-1 and used it a lot on safari last year:Has anyone here any experience with the 50-140 2.8? I've heard it is exceptional for low light and a fast lens ideal for sports. I take a lot of swimming shots. The 55-200 is my most used lens but its not always the fastest with captures. I use it with an XT 3
There were very cute! The 55-200 is pretty bulky speaking of large lenses. That's a cracking shot. Love the bokeh too.
It's an exceptional lens, I'd be lost without it. Although admittedly I had to go through 3 copies before I got a pin sharp one (but I was buying used so that's the chance you take).Has anyone here any experience with the 50-140 2.8? Yes the size/weight is relative. Compared to most of Fuji's other lenses then yes it's big and heavy but compared to the likes of the 100-400 or an old school DSLR 70-200 f2.8 then it certainly isn't.I own the 50-140 and think it is a fantastic lens, worth getting your hands on it first though as it is relatively large. The difference is significant there's no denying it. The one advantage the 50-140 has (if it works for your shooting style) is the tripod foot so you can rest everything on a tripod.I manage with the 55-200 handheld for several hours (at swim meets) but it can take its toll for sure. Is the 50-140 noticeably different?
For the small bump in price have a look at the XS20 instead. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a dedicated camera and wanting to jump back in - was looking at grabbing the XS10 kit for a start and adding some prime lenses down the line, starting with the 27 2.8 pancake.
Opinions from any users? Any alternatives to consider? My most used full frame setup back in the day was a 6D with the Sigma 35 1.4 but I want something far more compact now so I actually bring it with me

He hasn’t mentioned buying 2nd hand so I just assumed he’d be buying new.A used XS10 is about 50% price of a XS20 at about £650-700, boxed as well. A. new XS20 is £1250, and i've not seen a used one come up on the market yet.
I think of all the used Fuji bodies on the market now the XS10 is the best value for money. X-T4 is like £900. XH-1 is like £500-600 still...X-T2 is like £400.

A sound decision. I toyed with the idea of the 50-140 for over a year before eventually relenting and it was the best investment I ever made - along with the 16-55. While the X-T5 is an upgrade over the X-T3 the latter is still a superb camera and I would argue is much better value than the X-T4 (unless IBIS is of utmost importance). Finally splashed the cash. Opted for the lens over the XT-5, for now. I may be able to sell my 55-200 and put that towards the upgrade over the XT-3, eventually. But I will see how it goes. I thought the benefit from the new lens would outweigh that of the camera upgrade.
