Called the police, they said they will come over on monday to collect the phones and take a statement.

They said that if he comes back and is at all violent then i need to call the police

A few had failed lcd's within a couple weeks but as i buy them from a local major supply chain i can simply walk over with faulty unit and get a new one.

I pay a bit more for the parts this way but i know i have a 12 month warranty on the screens.

I see. I've had mostly issues with the frames rather than the LCDs inside - LCDs is probably due to the fact that the majority use used LCDs rather than new these days :p
 
When did you say that he's coming back to pick them up? He's not going to take kindly to you when you tell him that police have or are going to be picking up the phones. I'd be very weary of your upcoming encounter with him (if he's coming back!).
 
Op you state you have done 3000 iphone repairs? You also state it is £40 a pop for new screen? assuming the average repair is even as little as £10, that's £30,000. How long have you been doing this? Do you pay tax?

Anyway, as for the complete moron who bothered you. I would also recommend calling the police if you live with others you care about. If it is just you and you are prepared to handle it yourself, surely you got his address too? Go round and *** for tat him with "the boys".
 
Tell him,

1. You will call the police and they can deal with it.
2. You can take the phones and get lost.
3. He can call the police and get them involved
 
If changing the IMEI number was possible are you saying you would have fixed those stolen phones for him? Why don't you stop being bullied by a con man, and report him and give the phones to the police.
