FYI - Vista RTM now on MSDN

What subscription levels do you have for MSDN? I have the Universal one and it's there under "Operating Systems>Windows Vista>", both 32 and 64bit versions..

I only have MSDN because of the academic alliance my university has with microsoft (Bristol)

Doubt I will see a free version for a while on there.

ask the guy at your uni about it apparently Microsoft don't always remember to tell them and they have to manually put it on your uni's MSDNAA site. SO chances are your uni tech guy might forget bt I contacted mine and nothing yet but i'll try him again on monday :)

Sad as it is to say, I bet it will be out on the torents before MS get their servers sorted :( Mind you, people wouldn't have a legal key so it would be pointless d/ling a torrented RTM image..

I'm not really that bothered, as I wont install/activate it until I get a new machine anyway.

I was tempted to put HomePE on my media server, but I don't see the point as the new Media Centre is crap, so I'll just leave XP and Media Portal on.

Well, someone at Redmond obviously stuck another 50p in their leccy meter 'cause the download is now storming at >400KB/sec... another twenty minutes to go, I wonder if the key requests are working yet..

The Key requests are going through - just seemed to be a problem with the answer page.
I put in an Ultimate key request just before lunch and got the "Sorry, we could not process your request" page.

5 minutes ago I went back and it lists my key and today as the "claim day". - I didn't need to request it again.
Anyway, it took me about two attempts to get my key page up but it is running.

I hope it does get out onto the torrents as it will give everyone more bandwidth to play with.
It's useless without a key to install it with.

I must have been lucky, my download took less that an hour, 700+Kbs....

But I have just tried to get back to the msdn, and it keeps erroring, must be busy!!

keep getting this:
