FYI - Vista RTM now on MSDN

Is it me or have they removed the Vista x64 page and download entirely? If any other MSDN subscribers could check and let me know if it's just me I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I noticed that earlier too, definitely a bit odd

I'm now posting from my spanky new Ultimate install, it seems a fair bit faster than RC2 :)

The MS servers couldn't handle all the downloads, so they removed x64 while they deal with the problem. They also messed up with the keys for the Academic Alliance versions so they won't be on for a day or two :(.

I got my x64 download done overnight, was finished by 9:30 this morning.

I've got it running on my FX-60 box with 2GB of RAM it flies, as it should.

I've put the x86 on a 1.4ghz Athlon with 1Gb, and its perfectly acceptable.

Got back from weekend away, burned the iso, didnt work
tried a vm, still doesnt work, iso claims to be in perfect condition but gives errors.

*Gives up*

will wait for retail :(

*edit*

changed a few things in the iso, seems to be working now.

The few things i have noticed that have changed from rc2 are good, really like this os now, seems complete and it runs really fast, dead responsive.

Am posting from it now :)

New icons, sounds, wallpapers and a few changes to panel windows, seems to be about it, supports all keyboard and mouse functions as standard now, wheras in xp or previous vista's ive needed to install drivers.

Argh... what a pain that is... really looking forward to getting my key...

What is the cheapest way of getting access to the MSDN library??

the cheapest way i would think is to either join a uni on an I.T course who give access to MSDN:AA or join a company who give their I.T workers access to MSDN

It's what I said isn't it :p.
The coordinator won't be able to do much/anything about it. Probably best to wait. The official word is "soon" but Id guess it may be available tommorow PST.

for you MSDN aa users apparently it's going to be 1st Jan now :( ohh well at last the RC2 version will still be working then.
