thanks, i reviewed the SLI approved and SLI compatible - and even though the Antec Neo 550 was compatible not approved - i thought it would be the most reliable...other than spending $450 to $500 for a 850W or 1KW.
A bit of `politics` going on there, the Antec 550 Neo is ATI x1900 crossfire approved ( I was going to get this PSU if I went pci-e route ) which draws more power than current Nvidia cards, so I`m sure it will be fine with SLI + the manafacturing process is going to go towards shrinking the die size which should result in less power required, assuming we the don`t go quad SLI / crossfire

I tend to superbuild my computer until i am ready to build another and then try to canabilize the parts i can use for the new one - so the power supply will go for the AMD64/SLI as well as the two pair of TWINX2048-3500LLPRO (need to get a nice case with clear side panel - unfortunately i cannot see the flashing LED's on the memoy with my current case), audio ok, hard drives ok....so really all i need is another case, motherboard, chip, and 2 video cards...maybe i'll wait till Mr. Gates can get his new Operating System out of beta mode...would prefer a 64 bit operating system...
oh well...
I think a large amount of us on this forum are waiting for vista + DX10 ( hope it can live up to the hype ;) )

Gibbo - any word on when next shipment is due?....seems like my card is still pending new shipment....thanks...

If you mean the 7900 GT for AGP our first shipment is expect in our warehouse this Friday, approx 600 units and you will have one from the first shipment.

Sales are going crazy because we have customers from USA, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong going mad for these cards because they cannot get them on over there.

whats the price of 7900gt?

Ive just recieved my Bliss 7800GS Golden Sample AGP as a Gainward guarentee replacement for my 6800GT GS GLH that went fubar. It took OC.UK 6 weeks to test and replace (no biggy tho, my kids have been playing Runescape so that requires nowt gfx wise) but I fitted it in 5 mins, installed all drivers etc in 5 mins more and I have oc'ed it to 450 / 1300 using the stock Expertool. FEAR and BF2 have never run so smooth and all I can hear is my cpu fan. Couldnt care less about the arguments about PCI-e, I built my rig 18 months ago and I dont want to upgrade to PCI-e yet and im extremely happy with AGP. As for the 7900GT version (the GLH) -- well good luck to those that bought it, im sure it rocks. As for the other 7800GS owners out there.. this thing rocks too. 3DMark05 gives great results and im happy and so should you be ;)

OK I bought this card too... I installed it got it up and running... lovely... wonderful... but then I thought I`d just re-install my whole system and do some cleaning cos it looked alittle dusty when installing the card... anyway... to cut a long story short I realized why this card is so damn quiet...

Does any elses fan actually go round cos mine doesn`t... even when I OC it a little... but temperatures are at around 43C.. does it only kick in when its hotter?

Wel when i had stock cooling on my gtx cards they used to get up to 80oC. Then my cards sounded like jet engines and were pritty noisy at slower fan speeds. So if it not doing it any damage then why care they garentee the card.
