I dont know who voted for Dying Light, but I want to give you a high five. Not the same choice I made, but I totally respect the decision. Game was a major surprise and something that had me excited to play every time I had some free time.

Damn shame there wasn't a poll when the thread was first opened. Had to decide on one as you cant choose multiple games. Went for The Witcher 3 in the end... Fantastic game.

Really really tough to pick just one when it came down to it, but in the end I went with Metal Gear Solid V.

It was between that, Pillars and ACS as my top 3.

I'll have to go for Fallout 4 as I havent played a few other contenders.

It would have been GTAv if they had released it for PC earlier. I played it at release on PS3 and its never quite as good when you play through again. Plus the online was ruined by hacking.

I've enjoyed witcher 3 and fallout 4 so far, but seeing as GTAV is in the poll, that gets it for me. It's not often i buy a game twice and complete it twice, purchased it when it was released on the 360 originally then again on PC.

This has been an excellent year for games. I love many of those listed, but of all of them, Rocket League is still my #1. It's a game that you can just keep getting better at. I've sunk over 120 hours into it, and going strong.

Enjoyed the stories of GTA V and Witcher 3, but Witcher 3 edges it as it feels like a bigger game with more going on. Sorry Trevor.

Pillars of Eternity just hasn't gripped me the same way NWN 2 did. Too much Kickstarter hype I feel or maybe I expected too much.

Not played Assassins Creed or Fallout 4 yet.

I'm going on the game that to me made me think wow this is fantastic I want more of this and it has to go to MAD MAX - The game was megga underrated on lunch ! and it turned out to be a bloody fantastic game even if the story was a little short , the Graphics and the mad max world was brilliant. I completed it in around a good 5 days game play but to me this game gave me the most fun this year.

Forgot about Wolfenstein, the New Order was also a classic I actually completed this year, really surprised me(It takes a very good game to keep my attention till the end). Will hopefully find time for Old Blood next year as it's in my library waiting.

Mad Max is easily the best running game of the year and one of the very few that didn't give me any problems. Just Cause 3 is a complete mess in comparison.

Edit: And it's pretty fun on top of that.
