So, am I being blind or was the boy Daemons mistress gave money to (when he woke up in the morning) the same boy/spy Otto was using on the princess? In which case Daemon absolutely played Otto into the ground there knowing he wouldn't be able to resist reporting it as potential route for his grandson to take the throne.
Was waiting for her to protest her innocence but then have the King insist a maester... 'inspect' her. That would have surprised everyone, including Daemon.
 
Milly Alcock is a funny looking thing but strangely attractive. Maybe I just want to be king. :p

Good episode.


Otto had been scheming too long and had to get his comeuppance at some point. Seemed like he was a good hand mixed with a little too much ambition when given the opportunity. I imagine the next hand won't be quite as good.

She looks a million times better in real life with her normal hair colour.
 
Holy uncomfortable sex scenes batman. How old is the Princess supposed to be here? I've lost track with the time jumps, about 15? And that's before her Uncle going full Targ.

The intrigue and menace is stepping up nicely, but it really needs some of the wit and humour of GoT. Still, very good but it's definitely not at the same level as GoT season 1 yet.

I guess when we finish having the prelude and get to the inevitable war of succession things may pick up.

Yeah, theres no comic relief character and its all quite serious for the most part. I wonder if that will change. Its fundamentally much more insular and linear than GoT which doesn't help.

GoT we had loads of different story threads going on whereas for now there is basically only one. Still good but not a patch on that aspect of GoT.

Totally agree. I'm enjoying it, but it is lacking a bit of comic relief. It is almost too serious.
 
I don't get this I'm sorry.
Why am I meant to care about all this drama with characters that have barely had an hour of development.
Ep4 was utterly predictable.

Sure it's like ultra refined GoT, but this is basically dross..... Blood, sex soaked dross.

It's such a waste, but, what did anyone really expect?

I think you should stop watching TV for a while as it really seems to be having a really negative effect on you.
