Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon

You can always do deals with them. I got 4k ultra plus netfix for £3 per month from Sky. Well worth it.

Yeh i already have a good deal that is running its course (just not 4k). Im ditching the sky box when it runs out in 2 months time anyway. A sky box just feel antiquated now what with 4k apps on your tv.

Good episode. Love the visual design on the old dragon. Still think the series so far could have played out in about three episodes and been the better for it.

Is Demon going to bump off her existing children so he can put one one they make together on the throne?

Also, does Sky have terrible bit rate in the UK? Those darker scenes looked just awful.

I'm poverty watching via NowTV with boost and it was obvious it was a daytime scene with some sort of filter sadly. However i've heard the same from folks with high end setups watching in 4k too - just a bad choice in filming/post production.

Loved the latest episode, plenty of intrigue. The battle lines are forming quite explicitly now. Also at the start of the episode I wasn't expecting that ending. Really really good stuff.

Omg that was absolutely brilliant! Never expected that at all. I love you Daemon! No ******* mercy! Wait till you watch it! lol

Paddy Considine is easily the best thing of this so far, such a great episode.
Brilliant acting, I was going to say in my previous post, he deserves awards for the way he has played the King from start to eventual finish.

100% - he's taken a fairly boring character from the books and elevated it far beyond what anyone could have imagined.

Agreed, I think it is the only character/actor that has truly worked with the time skips they keep putting in place. Some of the other characters that they didn't replace, such as cole and daemon... it just looks silly that they look exactly the same, but 20+ years have passed.

Well this has at least stay consistent. Consistently boring. Can't believe the first season is almost over and F all has happened that I can remember. Typically I bet there's a huge ending to try and grab you for a second season.
yup love island style drama for genz

Loved it, the building tension before the inevitable civil war is palpable. Looking forward to the last 2 episodes been a great series.
Yup, still really enjoying it - might even start another GOT watch through when it ends, really given me and missus an appetite for those early seasons.

Absolutely - feel like he's probably the bedrock of the show - it's forced a lot of the other cast to probably up their acting game to match.

I'm gutted that Viserys is out now - Paddy has indeed been phenomenal and I really hope he wins some awards for that performance.

Don't know what show you've been watching but I don't think its HotD.

I've been watching a show mainly about getting pregnant and fathers who manipulate their children. It's been ****

Have been enjoying it but admit to being a bit confused now.

The son with the eye patch was I thought, the no 2 son 6 years ago (i.e. the previous episode) what has happened to his older brother ?

The two dark haired lads didnt appear to be much younger than the son they took the eye from but 6 years later he is now much older and they are still kids eh ?

Just on that point - the ageing is all over the place. The king looks about a hundred years older than the first episode. His brother hasnt aged at all nor seemingly has the commander of the Kings Guard who was old in the first episode and is still the same - what 16 years later ? Infact a number of characters havent aged while others are now on their 2nd or even 3rd casting ??
