Games you're playing, and games...

I played about two hours of Marvel Rivals last night and actually had a lot of fun. I wouldn't say it's quite as good as Overwatch 1, but there's a lot here to enjoy.

Assassins Creed Syndicate - Stumbled upon this and hooked on it, I loved Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla - never really experienced any of the older ones. Also turns out it has just had a 60fps patch update, it looks and feels stunning tbh!

I absolutely love the setting for this, the London map in the industrial revolution is a very unique, great voice acting and story is pretty good to :)

One of the best imo

Have been playing FF16 and it's been an enjoyable experience, definitely something unique and very cool boss fights, I liked that the game was just perfect difficulty for my liking. The only negative is that there are just too many boring side quests, there are many cool side quests which add a lot to the characters and story but I feel that many players might burn out to finish them all. I think the game deserves 9/10.

Quick question for any unicorn overlord players:

Do I have to garrison a town in the battle for it to be available outside of the battle.. or will any un-garrisoned towns automatically show up when the battle ends ? I’m worried if I don’t liberate them during battle I won’t get them to show up once it’s over.

In short, no. Just complete the objectives in the battle map ... and once done all territory is yours ( or at least as far as I can recall ).

Not absolutely sure because I've never not garrisoned anything which is garrisonable on a battle stage, but I would highly doubt it. If a single battle stage has multiple towns on it then it is usually the main battle for that zone which should clear up a larger area and free up the towns/forts in that area. You will still get the odd single towns which come up as separate Liberation quests, which are separate from the bigger quests. Anyway a save/load at an opportune time would confirm it for sure.

Currently playing Dying Light 2 and am rank 7. Don't think I am even half way through the storyline. I was hugely struggling to get into this but it took some persistence and I'm glad I did as it isn't that bad. Nothing compared to the first game mind you.

Just bought Robocop off PSN as I'd been eyeing it up for sometime and physical just isn't dropping to that level just yet so digital it is. Seems to run at a shoddy 30fps in Quality mode on the PS5 which is kinda crap for Unreal5 let alone the PS5. I'll play this game alongside DL2.

Thanks chaps. Just playing now for the objectives in battles - like zeroing in on the person who needs to be taken out.
