I'm looking for specifics/clarification and you're replying to me but not providing anything... I've not got a crystal ball so if you're going to make reference to what someone has supposedly said then use the quote function instead of being vague. Replying to me a bunch of times without adding clarification is just adding more noise.

Where? That's all I'm asking - if you're actually posting in good faith then just provide a link/quote to what you're referring to.

Seemingly you can reply to me over half a dozen times with non-answers to my request for clarification but actually inserting a quote or being specific re: what you're referring to is too much effort?

Again - where? What specifically are you referring to? Replying with "in this thread" isn't helpful, it is somewhat ironic to accuse me of trolling when you're just throwing back replies that offer no clarification.

Like I said, its already been done, I'm not going to constantly repeat myself when you already have been given what you seek. You just don't seem to be able to see it, idk why, it's bizarre.

I'm not - I'm being genuine - all I wanted was for you to be specific re: what you were referring to and what your argument was in relation to that and what I'd posted. the intent was some clarity and instead I got multiple replies to my requests for clarification which offered very little.

It's really discussing things in bad faith if you're unwilling to offer even basic clarification like providing a quote if you're going to refer to what someone has said or provide a simple explanation of the relevance etc...

No doubt you can reply again telling me I'm being asleep... perhaps I am, maybe I've missed it.. but multiple replies where you don't clarify haven't added anything here. Simply telling someone they've missed it if they have missed it isn't helpful - linking to it or providing a quote solves that. If you like... explain it to me like I'm 5 but please attempt to provide an explanation/substantiate what you're talking about else you're just not being clear and there isn't much to discuss.

Throwing in inane replies isn't helpful either but I guess that is what you'll carry on doing at this point.
 
It's refreshing to see a couple of posters review their stance after discussion with others. Unfortunately, the usual troll(s) will just keep trolling on regardless.

Time to remove the thread from my watch list, although this case will continue for years. Hopefully the girl can get her life back on track soon.

Yeah I mean I’m happy to discuss the subject, I made a reasonable request and I got trolled. I’m sure your contribution of the occasional meme was valued.

What am I supposed to compromise on when a poster is repeatedly replying to me but refusing to clarify - referring to something someone said but refusing to provide a quote re: what they’re referring to. It’s not unreasonable to ask for clarification.

While I’m sure it’s fun for anyone holding a grudge from previous threads (Brexit etc...) to now step in take a cheap shot - what’s wrong with asking for clarification and how’s the poster supposed to be showing I’m wrong if he refuses to even quote/link to what he’s referring to.

And humour aside that’s not true anyway.

If people want to actually deal with what I’ve posted and be specific about what they’re arguing then that would be helpful - vague arguments that misrepresent what I’ve said or claims that I’ve somehow contradicted something a defence lawyer has said without explanation or even a quote is just lazy ness. Actually providing quotes and being specific re: these claims could have saved a heck of a lot of posts.
