Gauntlet 2009 Joiners Thread!

As SimonB says, Berkeley have a planned outage every Tuesday (~6pm our time), usually coming back online a few hours later. Of course, connections are slow and/or unreliable afterwards for a while because of the increased traffic caused by a backlog of WUs waiting to be reported. So any connection issues around this time are normal.

Eloquently put :D

Pst... is it just me or is Stuart G...... putting out a bit more than normal ;)

Cheers, Simon.

Yes. Yes, I think he is, the showy so and so... :p

Out of interest, I had a a quick look at the team stats for our current production; our RAC has increased by 45,000 this week alone thanks to the gauntlet attracting new users and a bigger push from some of the existing ones

Also, I have managed to get my rig up and running again. Upgraded to 2 x 260GTX's which has increased my numbers somewhat :-)

Also, Thursday should see the arrival of a GTS250 which has just been ordered so I can fill the last slot.

(I need something to get my scores up for the Gauntlet)

I'm running 2 machines - one has enough units to last several days the other is 50% idle waiting for SETI to dish it out something to do :(

One's ever growing pending credit does have a way of damping one's spirt.

Guess that why the HMS br83taylor advised for an early start.

Full steam ahead captain, be a while before we lose this head wind

And you get a Recent average credit: 39,993.54 cobblestones on those?

I will have to see what mine averages out at when I get the GTS250 installed.

I'm currently @ Recent average credit: 2,347.49 cobblestones (you can stop laughing now)
