Quite possibly, but GPU grunt required vs the visial appearance is pretty poor IMHO. I personally think Tomb raider and Crysis 3 look better and run much faster.

DX11 (and 10) isn't `just` about graphics , its about the way games handle the visuals and whats behind them - if the models and texture detailing is high enough , factor in a long range draw distance; its enough to bring any machine to its knees.

True, hence why enabling the DX11 engine on WoW gives a ~10 FPS boost over the DX9/OGL engines (you cannot manually select the DX7/8 engines any more so unsure how much better than them it is).

Certainly, I think more and more people will start feeling the way I do about nVidia, as it's crap like this that put me off them some time ago. As I've said loads of times, I'm not deluded in to thinking AMD are a saint, I just know nVidia does things in an almost spiteful manner, and I really don't like them for it, that and all the lies and misinformation.
It's beyond a bit annoying, do 780 buyers even get the Free to Play game credits?
And yet you're still happy to spend £550+ on their products?

I don't have the post count yet to access MM or mine would be up there now. But most people probably keeping hold of them for a week or so in case of issues with their new cards.
