Geforce GTX 780, 770 coming in May

Maybe. I was just comparing performance for a second and it's a decent generational jump. Not massive but decent enough.
...except that they at replacing cards of the wrong teirs and artificially inflating prices. GTX770 replacing GTX680 at the same price point (according to Gibbo)? That's just pretty much straight rebadging plus factory overclock...

Haha, if he buys a 3rd voila, no micro stutter and probably still cheaper than a single 780 whilst stomping it's face into the curb with performance :p.

Can't wait to see how the 780 compares to my 3 7950's (;

£170 each... Yeah boi !

You'll make up the price difference in electrical useage sooner rather than later :P

At least they are not charging more than the 680. I guess if they would have priced the 780 at 680 prices this would have pretty much made the Titan obsolete. Still the prices are pretty extortionate.... Maybe the 780 / titan get bad yields or cost a lot to make I don't know... The 780 look like very nice products though looking at the pictures of the heatsinks etc. 7970 is by far the best card on the market for price / performance.

Much better move than a 780 mate! :cool:

Cheaper than a 780 too if you paid £510 minus postage. :eek:

Look what I've found:

"The new EVGA GeForce GTX 780 marks an evolution in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience, every time. It features a massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU of 2,304 cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Plus, it comes with 3 GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, giving you the performance capabilities you need to game at extreme settings. The GTX 780 is more than just fast and smooth. It’s perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies with features like GeForce Experience for one-click driver and settings optimization, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics."
