As is mine I had an 8 year relationship with a sikh girl and the older sikhs I met hated Pakistan and Pakistanis the younger ones not so much having mixed with muslims at school.

Ahh, you do know why don't you? It's not really about race but about a clash of cultures that led to the civil war in the 1950's that split India into three (Pakistan, India and Bangladesh)

Bit like how the Chinese don't like the Japanese very much because what happened in WW2, although this is not as bad as before.

I certainly couldn't bring myself to vote Labour, the party of paedophiles.

That quote isn't from her, it is from a document by the National Council for CiviL Liberties, which she was a part of (joining after that document/quote were made), she never agreed with lowering the age of consent, just with making he age of consent the same for homo and hedero sex.

Of course you would know all that if you had spent ten seconds checking your sources before copy pasting garbage and helping bull **** spread around the internet...

Attacks on here getting a bit nasty folks. Calm down.

After reading these last couple of pages, it seems people are trying to out do each other on who`s party has the worst criminal record (the people involved, not the party).

There seems to be a ton of Labour and Conservative MEP`s who have ended up in jail for some really quite disgusting things.

So ( in fairness ) I`m trying to find out how many UKIP bods have been sent down. I`ve found about 5 so far (mostly for fiddling the books) (unlike Labour, who seem to just fiddle with children).

Anyone want to help me search out these criminal *******s. ??

As far as I'm concerned, falsely accusing someone of being a paedo is only marginally better than actually being a paedo. Why am I not surprised that the anti-Labour campaign has stooped to this low?

Although UKIP MPs seem to be involved in less sinister crime, and less of them , they get the most press coverage.

Ahh yes, the joys of people trying to compare two sets of information without the necessary skills to do it.

Not that it's a useful metric but if you really wanted to compare criminality between the entities you would need to see criminal activity per X MP's over a given time-frame. To compare long term established entities (Conservative or Labour) with a long history to say, UKIP over the last 12 months is beyond stupid.

So to summaries the general perception of parties prevailing in this thread would be something like this:

Conservatives = The nasty toff's party
Labour = The communist lefty zealots party
SNP = The we hate the English bigoted nationalist party
UKIP = The fascist party
Greens = Hippy, dippy, clap your hands and be happy, left of the loony left Party
Liberal Democrats = 'We have an identity Crisis' party.

While you chaps pop your handbags down and nip off for a spot of lunch the rest of us can get back to talking about the actual election.

This was posted earlier (and I'll make no apologies for the Daily Mail link because it's an interesting article). If there was ever a time for tactical voting, this is it.
Constituency guide to 50 key seats

If UKIP and Conservative voters vote tactically they can lock the gates of Downing street to Ed & Edd - Balls might even lose his seat! That would make me laugh!

That seems to sum it up. It is not a wonder that so many people aren't interested in politics when whatever view you have, party you support you will be ridiculed by others who are completely blinded by their own bias. This thread shows that clearly with a handful of posters taken it over trying to shout the loudest

So would you agree, that there is no statistical evidence to indicate that members of UKIP who are found to support racist views, are reflective of the wider party membership and supporter base?

You much have missed the bit where i posted 320 incidents for Lib/Lab/Con in 5 months, putting UKIP aside for a moment, that in itself is astonishing

In the case of UKIP they probably do have more extremists then the established parties simply because some of their support has come from the demise of the BNP. On top of that the media is a big racket dominated by the big parties who influence what gets said about who. Labour and the Conservative parties have pressed hard on fleet street over the last 18 months to find any sort dirt to halt the UKIP advance in the polls.

Two years later, in 1978, Harriet Harman, then a newly qualified solicitor, became the NCCL’s legal officer. She promptly wrote its official response to Parliament’s Protection of Children Bill, which sought to ban child pornography.

Her letter claimed that such a law would ‘increase censorship’, and argued that a pornographic picture of a naked child should not be considered indecent unless it could be proven that the subject had suffered.

You're stuck on your rhetoric, i'll leave you to your ignorance. As said before the Cons have more ex-BNP members than anyone. UKIP hardly any due to the ban

On that i agree with you!
