Democracy - Labour style.

Exactly, robgum has just proved my point that UKIP candidates commit offenses at a higher rate than the other parties when taking into account number of candidates. Moreover he has proved that the media are into biased against UKIP.

Tony Blair would be proud of that Spin :p

What are you on about? You really need to keep taking your meds!!

I under mentioned the possibility of Cameron illegally squating, others said he would. I have simply pointed out it would be illegal if he fails at the Queens speech.

Why would I care if the conservative get in power,I really don't care if it is labour or the Tories. They are inseparable in my mind and as bad as each other, i have no opinion either way. Their odds are still extremely remote going by expert analysis

For somebody who doesn't care you have a really hard time keeping away from this thread :p . I regularly lurk and you're one of 3 forum members that comes to mind when I think of these general election threads. Looking at the total post count just now you have the highest number of posts and I'm not surprised.

I care who gets elected and this is the first time I've posted in this thread so I have a hard time believing that the person with the highest post count doesn't have any kind of preference over who ends up in power next.

Well it is on their manifesto for starters, albeit for 5 years. But what would be the guarantee after 5 years it is no longer banned?

....

Now you're being deliberately disingenuous, surely this is now trolling? You know what the manifesto really says, come on, say it loudly

Anyone else wonder what this thread would be like with Biohazard? lol

Would probably be telling us all that the SNP would 100% be forming a majority government :D

That is quite simply false.

The manifesto states;
a five-year moratorium on immigration for unskilled workers.

So for that period, there would be suspension of unskilled migrants entering the country.

For skilled migrants where we have skill shortages immigration would be encouraged on a points based fairly that would treat everyone equally and not discriminate against non EU nationals.

I do have a preference, the Greens, but they wont end up in power for some time to come.

Between labour and the the Tories, no I don't really care much either way. I have voted for them both in the past and would in the future if they swing back to more center ground.

yes, what I said. A ban on unskilled immigrants for 5 years, with no definition of what skilled is. banning immigrants is banning immigrants, it is black and white on the UKIP manifesto!

Again, no-one is 'banning immigrants'. The policy is a 5 year suspension for unskilled immigrants. Immigration would still be encouraged for those with specific skills where there is a shortage.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/gen...ative-MPs-garden-with-1300-litres-of-oil.html

Earlier in the campaign, a car belonging to the parents of Conservative Charlotte Leslie was defaced with the words "Tory scum," now vandals have punctured their heating oil tank, flooding their garden with 1,300 litres. A blogger on an anarchist website has claimed responsibility under the name "Thatcher's children".

Leftards, herping and derping.

How is it weaselling.
It's a coalition, no one has power to do what ever they want. They need to secure enough votes. Which is very unlikely without the LD, SNP, Labour all not wanting it. And as said it was Lisbon treaty which was signed before they got into power meaning there's little they can do,

How is understanding of a coalition so poor.

They could have had the courage of their convictoons and gone back to the electorate at any time they chose but it was convenient for pro eu camoron the coward to hide behind the libdems and avoid a vote he would have almost certainly won but almost isn't good enough for the pro eu tories.

Provided that this doesn't mean more than an arbitrary cap of 50,000 a year.

Because the other parties have failed to control immigration, UKIP will limit highly-skilled work visas to 50,000 per annum, including those from the EU, and apply a moratorium to unskilled and low-skilled labour over the course of the next parliament.
