German court rules circumcision is 'bodily harm'

Are we really going to sit and pretend a little girl asking to have her ears pierced is the same as cutting the foreskin off of a baby as a religious ritual? Really?

Oh well, if it's common in America, it must be fine.

The risk is not nil. There is ALWAYS a chance for something to go wrong. Some undiagnosed thing to rear its ugly head and cause complications. The risk is low, but it's not zero.

There's risk in getting a vaccine jabs, should we stop them?

I have a scar on my shoulder from a vaccine jab as a child, i dont like it and i was given no choice. Should we ban these as well as i had no made a decision if i wanted it or not?

Does your jab benefit you? Yes.

Is the effect incredibly minor? Yes.

Does it ever negatively effect how your body performs? No.

The answers are all opposite for circumcision. It is a much more drastic change.

Vaccines give a tangible and measurable benefit. The risk of not having a vaccine far outweighs the risk of complications from having it.

I've said I'm against both. I was just saying there's a difference between cutting off a foreskin and someone having a piercing - the former being permanent, the latter leaving a tiny, usually imperceptible mark at most. That's not to say the latter's okay, just that the former's worse.

In your opinion, in my opinion i find piercings worse.

Does it really matter if its reversible, its still mutilation without consent and it causes unnecessary pain. A hole in your ear is mutilation if going by the criteria of circumcision is mutilation.

actually a hole in your ear heals up very quickly. Still don't agree with it on children either, but it's a damn sight less worse than irreversibly cutting of the skin on the stop of the penis.

The difference is with a practice like Mezizah they are sucking the blood out of the cut from the penis with there mouths.

You're wrong on every count.

It dosen't benefit you, the argument about smegma is completely invalid unless you're a dirty sod that dosen't wash at all in which case its the least of your issues.

It does affect how your body performs, it dulls the sensitivity and makes sex less pleasurable.

And it can negatively effect how your body performs, sometimes SEVERELY so.

The removed skin heals over rather quickly too. Point is they are both "mutilations" and should both be banned going off this ruling.
