Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

Most people are retards. I refuse to look on Facebook for fear of the whining.
 
Finally got it installed.. really like some things about it.. hate others..

Don't like the big box the bottom icons sit in
HATE the new Notes app, I use it a lot and loved the notebook look of it, looks terrible now.

Super! so I would be upgrading for better looking calendar, contacts, reminders etc.

Think i'll pass

edit - I used notes daily too (its actually on the bottom of the screen with phone, contacts and calendar) would hate for that to be wrecked

It looks fine, I just like it because it's different and I was getting bored of the same thing for so long.
 
Indeed. You swear iTunes 11 raped their women and children and iOS 7 is going to burgle their home and eat their food.

It sorely needed a refresh and it's obviously going to take a bit of getting used to.

I use notes daily, and couldn't give a **** about the yellow lined paper UI :p
 
Not too bothered about that, more the fact it looks like someone smeared a rainbow over the screen.

I'm not bothered about different, I like IOS because of its usability and how fast I can do everything I want. Why would I be bothered about control centre if I can just open 'Settings' or access torch on my home screen where it has always been
 
finally updated my Iphone 4

feels smooth to me - I'm impressed - ok some of the animations are a bit longer than I'd like - but no where near as laggy as I was expecting after reading some forum posts
 
Thanks re going back to ios6.

I would be interested in battery life stats with location services off, brightness half and general use. I normally get 2 and a bit days standby with about 6 hours usage - music, facebook, text, browsing over 3g and wifi
 
Attempted to update iPad at about 19:00 this evening OTA. Several download failures then a long long download, during which I decided to update my iPhone at 23:00, that took about 25 mins all in and all seems well.

iPad download finally completed at about 23:30 and on attempt to install had hung, restarted and now asks to be connected to iTunes for a full wipe and re-install (bloody great!).

Running through that now but will be annoyed if this means I need to setup everything again on this device.

Impressed at first but now not so much! :(
 
All up and running. I like it :)

Servers must be calming down now I'd imagine.
 
My brother is having issues installing, is this a bug or just something you have to keep trying to get working..or leave it for a few days for things to be more quiet on the server side to try again?

It's a 4s he has.
 
Hmmm. I had the first couple of betas on my 4s before recently changing to htc one. I actually really liked the look of the os, but after just updated my ipad to it I'm not so sure. It's looks a flippin mess. :-(
 
It feels juddery on my mini, it was very smooth before. No real benefits for me really other than it makes everything ugly and juddery.

Lots of complaints online so maybe Apple will offer an update to go back to 6.
