Hey guys!
I have been silently following this thread the whole time...
Its been so funny to read all these comments that i chose to register and join in :)

Any new news about if the 70 Mh/s from the RX VEGA 64 are true?
Or more information about why the FE Edition is at "only" 35 Mh/s? --> Is it the Drivers or is it the other HBM?

Think I read on beyond 3D that some pro miner was given a Vega (fe or RX not sure which) form AMD and he helping AMD optimize drivers for mining, but he was onyl getting the 33-37Mh/s and complains at the power required to do so.

Could have been Claymore, I know he was working with AMD because theres a bug with the RX400/500 cards that will see their Ethereum performance drop off over time and AMD were keen to update the drivers to fix it.

Whats with the pricing, I'm seeing 900 / 1800 quid for the vega cards on this site? Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?

Those are the semi-pro cards, not RX "gaming models.

We don't know UK prices yet for the RX's but everyone knew it was never going to be cheap - except for the 56 model which (in september) should be more reasonably priced than the 64/AIO models.

But hold on, apart from miners who in the right mind is going to buy a Vega card that performs the same as an nvidia card at a higher price?

If they didn't excel at mining AMD would have to price the cards lower than nvidias,it's abit of an odd situation as they should be competing for 'gaming market-share' but if the cards are going to be sold out regardless due to their mining prowess then it makes sense that they would want to cash in.

If vega turns out to be the top mining arch then it will probably be oos until something better comes along or crypto bursts.
