news are saying they dont know if its linked to london attempts , how stupid can you get
To retain credibility, the news agencies have to report confirmed facts, not what they overheard in the queue down at the dole office.

Nope.

BBC news eye witness said the driver was an asian man.

........ he said he was determined to drive the vehicle into the terminal.

The passanger came out the vehical on flames pouring petrol everywhere.

Wow, and what an eye witness. Even managed a chinwag with the driver before he drove in.

TBH I don't think Osama is even a member here, or a fan - otherwise myself and Virii would be prime targets
Actually, I bet he is happy people react the way you and VIRII do, it's exactly what he would want.

The witness was a taxi driver, hardly a great source for a factual account.

So it didn't happen?
I never claimed it as 100% factual, just an eyewitness account.
Whats your point?
I don't know if it happened or not, I wasn't there and haven't heard any reports from a credible source.

My point is that a taxi driver is not a credible source if you want a completely factual account of what happened.

I don't like your generalization, it comes across as snobby.

My father was a taxi driver for 5 years. He was also a bomb disposal expert in the navy, fought in the Falkland’s and served for 24 years.

Whats your point?

Whats any of that got to do with a car driving into an airport?

I'm a snob, what do you expect?

Good for him. My dad is an artist.

As I said before, my point is that a taxi driver isn't a good source for a factual report. Taxi drivers love nothing more than a good bit of gossip. How does the taxi driver know what the driver of the Jeep was determined to do? He doesn't. He is speculating, giving his story a bit of spice, just the way taxi drivers always do.

Are you even reading this thread?

I quoted from an eye witness, who they are saying is a taxi driver. Apparently taxi drivers a walter mitty characters to the folk in here.

Just heard an eye witness say the one that got burnt was a real mess and looked like he'd just stepped out of a blazing inferno, hope he was and still is, in total agony.

Well, I was thinking, what kind of an earth shattering thing to say is that, for anyone, never mind a taxi driver: "Yes, the terrorist was determined to drive into the terminal". Actually, he ummed and ahhed for a bit over a mug of Bovril. And how would they know :-/
