Glory, glory Leeds United for me please.

For those whom surport man utd , liverpool etc that an't local, can you tell me why you surport them?

I supported Liverpool when I was at School because they were the best, I went over to Arsenal for a short while because they won the league (I remember my first Arsenal shirt, all my friends were jealous)

Then in the early 90's Manchester United got really good so I started supporting them, ever since they have won everything so I have stuck with them through thick and thin (apart from when I went with Chelsea for a couple of seasons)

Nowadays though I am definitely a Man Utd fan, we are in the CL final !!!11one!

Hope that helps :)

Liverpool pen was very similar to the Drogba incident in which Torres had his shirt tugged and was then tripped.

Only difference was a penalty was awarded :( Why? Reputation ;)

Was a bad decision not to give a free kick.

Was a penalty on Torres, Think he went down easily mind, could he of stayed on his feet and shot ?

However, Drogba's rep goes before him, maybe he should start staying on his feet ?..

You have only been supporting United for ten years or so then? And have supported two other premiership teams along the way to get there? That makes baby jesus cry. :(

Pretty much what i said :P

seems fair to me, it means you don't get disappointed. who follows a club to get disappointed. it's meant to be a pleasurable thing surely?

lol are you joking? Please tell me you're joking..

Supporting ALL of the 4? Pathetic is an understatement.

Believe it or not football is not all about winning, how boring would that be?

For me its Liverpool, and I am not local to Liverpool, nor have I ever lived there.

The reason is fairly straight forward, 35 years ago, when I was young and watched football on the TV, the most exciting team to watch was Liverpool. They didnt always win (though they often did), but even when they lost it was an exciting match with engrossing performances.

So I found myself taking an interest in their matches more than any others on the TV. As I grew up I continued to follow them and once I had the means I took what opportunities I could to see them play, both on the road and up at Anfield. Had I wanted to seek glory then I could have swapped my attentions to a team who hadnt gone nearly 2 decades without winning the league, but by this stage it was Liverpools team where my interests were rooted.

I dont get to go and see them as much these days, partly due to family and partly due to work and other commitments, but I still consider them to be the team that I "support".

Make of all that what you will, call me a lesser fan, or berate me for following a team from which I have no genetic connection. Cant say it will particularly upset me, I've followed one team for almost 40 years now, a lot of people I know cant say they have followed the same team for 10 years, let alone 4 times that.

fair enough but i don't really get where you're coming from? he's supported all four so i'd say he's probably one of the most successful fans on here surely?

I don't understand how anyone over 10 years old can change the team they support at anytime in their life unless they go into administration.

I've supported Chelsea since i knew they existed, and always will.

Well that's not exactly difficult is it? The top 4 tend to win a majority of the competitions, hence being called the top four.
