Glory, glory Leeds United for me please.

For those whom surport man utd , liverpool etc that an't local, can you tell me why you surport them?

Is this a common argument from all Stoke fans? Like a broken record.
As a child my geography wasn't very good, but I knew what I liked and I loved Gary Pallister, so I ended up supporting Man Utd.

Being local has nothing to do with it, people move about, so it's a stupid argument. Weebull for example supports Arsenal but lives in Hull.

In fact it's probably best he uses something like this:

Shaking the dust off would result in giving the whole street asthma attacks. :(

I wanna hear an answer from Gimp before we change subject!

His leet post count isn't going to get him off supporting Liverpool>Arsenal>Chelsea>United :D

Glory hunter :)

been many matches?

also just for the record, i'd never want stoke city to end up like man utd.

Hmm, if watching Leeds and Arsenal win the title in the First Division is Glory Hunting, then it must be. I didn't even know what 'Glory' was when I was 5.

Loads. Until this season I had a 1/2 share in a Stretford End season ticket for 4 years.

also just for the record, i'd never want stoke city to end up like man utd.
Successful? Playing good football? European football? Fantastic stadium? Top manager? Great youth set up?

Yeah, looking at it, it's the exact opposite of what I want!

I'm scottish and I support Glasgow Rangers. I was brought up during 9 in a row and all was good, times aren't so brilliant now but I still love them.
I also support man utd as one of my earliest football memories is watching a big fixture with my parents friends from manchester and getting really excited when they won.

he's just goal orientated in everything he does in life. that seems worthy of respect to me. he does not tolerate failure, i just wish more of the kids in the uk were like that and then we wouldn't be in the mess we are now.

Failure and mistakes are part of life, how would anyone ever learn and improve if we didn't make them?

Can't believe you're backing someone up who's supported Liverpool>Arsenal>Chelsea>United

Is the post count scaring you?

It was actually Liverpool>Leeds>Man Utd>Arsenal>Man Utd>Chelsea>Man Utd.
So you could say he's almost always been a Man Utd fan. Can't hold that against him surely?

How does that make sense lol?

He's always been a united fan but has supported Leeds, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool?

Unless my sarcasm radar is failing me?

well that's it, he doesn't minnd teams making mistakes. it's not like he'll hold it against them, when utd weren't successful for a few years he started supporting chelsea but as soon as they learned from their mistakes and improved he didn't hesitate to take them back again. he doesn't hold grudges.

I just respect him a lot. i can't help that.

Because if you take the average, he's been a Man Utd supporter the longest?

That would go down to Manchester united being the most successful team in the last 20 years?

How anyone can defend this is quite remarkable.

I don't care if he supported Liverpool for 10 years and then Arsenal for a week. It's still a joke.
