That's like asking will a GTX 780 run TF2 :p

I did think so, I just wanted to check :p

Well I couldn't be bothered to wait for the price to come down on amazon (if it ever even does!) so I took the advice from someone earlier in this thread and went to the italian amazon and got them delivered for ~£172 inc VAT, obviously no import duty within the EU (we better never vote ourselves out of the EU!).

That's only £22 away from the ideal price of £150, but £28 better than £200. £22 is smaller than £28 so I think I've probably made money by purchasing these! Also when I consider I almost paid £190 for them when I was drunk the other night it's win wins all around.

I just hope there's nothing wrong with them, having to ship them back to Italy would kill any saving. Also I will no longer look in this thread in case I see the price drop to £150 :p

Also, where can I get one of those cool looking bendy wood headphone stands?

The headphone stands that you guys are on about are made by ROOMs and can be bought on Thomann for circa £65 iirc

£70 including postage.

Tonight's not been cheap :p

There was a section on the order form, I asked them for a €1 discount. Wonder if I'll get it :p

£240 just to listen to Spice Girls. And with the open back I won't even be able to discreetly watch porn lol, they better be as good as EVERY comment previous says they are!

I've been using these headphones for the last 12 months. In that time I've sold a number of standard favourites that I've owned for the last several years including the likes senheiser hd600/650/hd25, akg 701, grado 80&125, denon adh-2000. For me the x1 have all the good qualities of numerous headphones I've owned over the last ten years or so without any of the downsides. Haven't found a genre of music that they struggle to reproduce, are excellent for PC gaming and handle late night movie watching fantastically.

I got my pair from Philips direct and managed to chain a 40 and 25 percent voucher to get them cheap :)

I wonder what will get here first. The stand from Germany, or headphones from Italy. I'm feeling pretty multicultural right about now.

Just for lols, how much better are the X1s compared to what I use now: Creative HS800?

If you take the biggest number you can think of, and then put it to the power of the same number, that's how many times better :p

1 times better? If I could think of a number larger than 1 you would have set me on an endless loop!

Should be a good year for music too. Phantogram album dropping in a matter of days, likewise for the Speedy Ortiz EP, also looking likely we'll see the third Lykke Li album.

If I knew any of those artists I'm sure that I would agree with you :p
