GOG , Good Old Games - Official Thread

Has anyone else experienced loading the gog website lately? Used to open up quite fast but now times out all the time both on chrome and ff for me. Haven't made any changes to the browsers lately so it's sort of puzzling =/

It's under a lot of load at the moment. It went down for a bit last night when they made their announcement.

Now we have WC:Privateer, I wonder if we will see Strike Commander? Brought my 486DX PC to it's knees back in the day and came on 16 floppys IIRC....

Longer than all the HOMM3 campaigns?

Well, 8 campaigns each with multiple missions. I remember playing the first two when they came out, still got them boxed in the loft somewhere, 3+ hours each for an experienced HOMM3 player, so I reckon my estimate is not far out...

One of the earliest attempts at episodic gaming...

Well, the Shadow of Death\Armageddon's Blade campaigns are already pretty tough, hence my question.

GoG's Interplay promotion is ending soon: 4th July 23:59 EDT (04:59 BST I think)

I just got Fallout & Fallout 2 for $5.98. £3.82 inc. PayPal's currency exchange fee.
