GOG , Good Old Games - Official Thread

Oooh, Sanitarium! Loved the demo all those years ago, yet never did get around to buying it. Bought now though :).

Steam sale and GoG sale at the same time, my wallet canny take any moar capn'!

I did buy Sanitarium even though I've never heard of it before now and am tempted to get RCT based solely on Neil's recommendation.

Combining best of both worlds of features from the earlier smash hits by Chris Sawyer and his team, we give you Chris Sawyer’s Locomotion. From a small entrepreneur with 2 bus stops and a rusty old bus, become the biggest tycoon of all time and connect the whole world with your spiderweb of transportation routes. Build railroads, trams, trucking lines, airplanes, ships and buses and manage your company from the early 1900’s to long past 2100 like an immortal economic entity would do. The game is played in a 2D isometric view and features beautifully-drawn historic and futuristic styles, with colorful and high resolution textures. Choose from over 40 pre-designed scenarios (including those based on real countries f.ex. USA, UK or Canada) and five difficulty settings to accommodate any playing style. This game is a special treat for vehicle enthusiasts: with lots of classic automobiles and trains, and Chris Sawyer’s insighhtful look on the future of transport past the year 2000, anyone who played with model train sets growing up will get a kick out of this classic.

Neil79, is it really necessary/mature to lock my thread? I posted it simply (as stated) so that people who dont read this thread could be made aware of it.

I'm not a moderator so I didn't lock your thread ;) besides locking a thread has nothing to do with maturity

However this thread is for gog games, there are TONS of games in this thread that deserve their own topic but it would be all over the place so having it here keeps it nice and clean. I'm a huge RCT fan myself so :)

Yeah you had nothing to do with it Im sure...

Where does the line get drawn then mate? If it isnt a GOG game then becomes one all future threads outside of yours arent legitimate?

As is evident from the views, I think its completely rational, mature, and logical to help people who dont frequent your tidy thread to find arguably some of the most anticipated GOG games.

But I must have got it wrong, I thought it was about community

You are getting way over stressed about this fella, really isn't worth it. If people want to buy the game they will, this thread has tons of visits and views every day. Anyone that doesn't visit gog should be ashamed :D

I've already said i'm a huge RCT fan hence that soundtrack thread but as it's related to GOG it's a gog thread post. I'll say no more, it's too a nice a day for arguments
