The worst thing about La Manga is getting paired with some complete duffers, which nearly always happens to be the case when I am out there with my old man. There are supposed to be handicap limits, but a lot of the people I have played with are pretty much beginners with little to no idea of how to play or of proper etiquette. It was a massive relief to be first out one morning and get round in 3.5 hours when I was there in April! Also, it's going to be very, very hot in July.Looking forward to playing Woburn Abbey in early July, heard it's a pretty demanding track, off to La Manga after that for 10 days too.
I like the West course the best out of the three they have, as it has a bit of everything and is the most interesting course out of the lot. The North is nice too, but is not the most challenging of courses. I find the South to be the worst of the lot, even though it's supposed to be the best, as it is a bit flat, straight and dull.
